Aspects of the present invention relate to a control system () for identifying at least a first activity performed by a person of interest (POI-n). The control system () includes a controller having a processor () and a system memory (). The controller () is configured to receive image data (DIMG, DIMG) from at least one imaging device (C, C). The image data (DIMG, DIMG) includes at least one image frame representing an image scene including at least a portion of a person of interest (POI-n). The image data (DIMG, DIMG) is analysed to identify a skeletal model () of the at least a portion of the person of interest (POI-n); and at least one object of interest (OOI-n) with which the person of interest (POI-n) is interacting. The first activity being performed by the person of interest (POI-n) is identified in dependence on the skeletal model () and the identified object of interest (OOI-n). The present invention relates to a related method of identifying an activity being performed by a person of interest (POI-n). The present invention also relates to computer software and a non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium storing instructions thereon.

Activity identification method and apparatus

A method () of controlling the operation of a head-up display apparatus (), a control apparatus (), a system (), a vehicle (), a computer program () and a non-transitory computer readable medium () is disclosed. The method () comprises: obtaining first directional data indicative of a path of a vehicle (A,B); and adjusting the position of a graphical element () presented by the head-up display apparatus () in dependence on the first directional data.

Controlling the operation of a head-up display apparatus

The invention relates to an activation system for a vehicle comprising a steering wheel () and a semi-autonomous or an autonomous control system. The activation system comprises at least one imaging means (), such as a camera, having a field of view encompassing at least a substantial portion of the steering wheel arranged to collect, in use, a first image data set representing a raw image of a subject within said field of view. A control module is also provided for processing said first image data and for making a determination as to whether a driver currently has both of their hands on the steering wheel or not. The present disclosure relates to a head-up display apparatus (). An image source () is provided for generating a composite image comprising a first image (IMG) and second image (IMG). Dual head-up display apparatus

The present disclosure relates to a method for selectively highlighting visual zones associated with a vehicle. A point of origin and a gaze direction of a vehicle occupant are determined and a virtual projection plotted corresponding to the gaze of the vehicle occupant. The virtual projection extends from the determined point of origin in a direction of the determined gaze direction. With reference to a three-dimensional model comprising a plurality of pre-defined areas of interest, an intersection of the virtual projection with one of the plurality of areas of interest is identified. The method comprises controlling an illumination source that is associated with the determined one of said plurality of areas of interest so as to highlight a visual zone associated with the vehicle.

Dynamic lighting apparatus and method

The present disclosure relates to a method of controlling one or more vehicle systems. The method uses at least one sensor (--) to monitor a driver (D) to identify a driver distracted state. One or more functions of a first vehicle system () are inhibited when the driver distracted state is identified. The present application also relates to a control apparatus (); and to a vehicle (V).
