A circuit breaker is shown which includes a plurality of fixed contacts and a plurality of corresponding movable contacts. An actuating shaft is operatively connected to and actuates the plurality of movable contacts to couple with/separate from the corresponding fixed contacts. A supporting device for the actuating shaft can be movably connected to a wall of the circuit breaker, and the actuating shaft can be operatively coupled to the supporting device to rotate around a rotation axis relative to the wall of the circuit breaker and the supporting device itself. The circuit breaker can include an adjustment device for adjusting at least the position of the actuating shaft relative to the wall.

Circuit breaker

The present invention relates to a circuit-breaking device for low-voltage systems with a control mechanism that has improved characteristics of compact size and reliability. The circuit-breaking device according to the invention comprises an outer housing containing, for each pole, at least one fixed contact and at least one moving contact suitable for being mutually coupled and uncoupled. The device also comprises a control mechanism comprising a supporting frame that supports a kinematic chain operatively connected to the moving contact so as to enable the latter to be coupled to or uncoupled from the fixed contact. The supporting frame comprises a pair of sides connected by means of a first transverse connecting portion and by further connection means that define a further transverse connecting portion in a different position from that of the first transverse connecting portion.

Circuit-breaking device for low-voltage systems

The present invention relates to a switching device, in particular an automatic switch, a disconnector or a contactor, with high dependability, for use preferably in low voltage electrical systems. In particular the invention relates to a single-pole or multi-pole double break switching device for low voltage systems comprising, for each pole, at least a first pair of contacts and at least a second pair of contacts. Each pair comprises a stationary contact and a movable contact which can be reciprocally coupled/decoupled at the level of a first breaking cavity and a second breaking cavity respectively. Said cavities are defined inside a casing which comprises a first surface with respect to which an internally hollow portion protrudes, said internally hollow being integrally made with at least one portion of the casing. The hollow portion defines, for each pole, one or more discharge channels each of which has a first section communicating with the corresponding first breaking cavity and a second section communicating with the environment outside the casing to permit the discharge of gas from the inside of the first breaking cavity.

Single pole or multi-pole double break switching devices

The present invention relates to a switching device for low voltage systems comprising one or more accessory devices. The switching device according to the invention comprises a case containing at least one pair of contacts that can be reciprocally coupled/decoupled. The device furthermore comprises a containment structure to contain at least one accessory device of the switching device. Said structure is provided with means for interfacing with the accessory device which comprises a body that can be inserted in the containment structure. The accessory device also comprises coupling means to couple it to the containment structure and operating means which interact with the switching device via the interface means of the containment structure. The accessory device is also provided with disengagement means operatively connected to the coupling means. Said disengagement means, once activated, free the coupling means to permit extraction of the accessory device from the containment structure.
