A coupling device for coupling a fuel rail to a cylinder head of a combustion engine may include: a fuel injector cup coupled to the fuel rail and facing the cylinder head, a first fastening element facing the fuel injector cup and fixedly coupled to the cylinder head, at least one first spring element arranged between the first fastening element and the fuel injector cup and/or between the fuel injector cup and the cylinder head, a support element arranged between the fuel rail and the cylinder head and fixedly coupled to the fuel rail, a second fastening element engaged with the support element and fixedly coupled to the cylinder head, and at least one second spring element arranged between the second fastening element and the support element and/or between the support element and the cylinder head. The first spring element(s) may comprise metal, and the second spring element(s) may comprise plastic.

Coupling device

A valve assembly for a fluid injection valve may comprise a valve body, a valve needle moving in a cavity of the valve body, an armature in the cavity for actuating the valve needle, and a particle retainer. The cavity may extend axially through the valve body to connect a fluid inlet end to a fluid outlet end of the valve body and have a valve seat adjacent to the fluid outlet end. The first portion of the cavity may limit movement of the armature in the axial direction towards the fluid outlet end by a bottom surface having a central opening from which a second portion of the cavity extends towards the fluid outlet end. The shaft of the valve needle may extend through the opening into the second portion. The particle retainer element may bear on the bottom surface, circumferentially surrounding the shaft of the valve needle and overlapping the opening.

A coupling device for mechanically coupling a fuel rail to a cylinder head of a combustion engine comprises a fuel injector cup designed to be hydraulically and mechanically coupled to the fuel rail and comprising a through hole extending between a first surface and a second surface of the fuel injector cup, the second surface arranged to face the cylinder head, and a fastening element designed to be fixedly coupled to the cylinder head, the fastening element comprising a head portion facing the first surface of the fuel injector cup and a shank portion partially arranged in the through hole and designed to be in engagement with the cylinder head. The coupling device comprises a first spring element arranged axially between the head portion and the first surface of the fuel injector cup, and a second spring element facing the second surface of the fuel injector cup and arrangeable axially between the second surface of the fuel injector cup and the cylinder head.

A fuel injector assembly has a fuel injector and a coupling device for hydraulically and mechanically coupling a fuel injector to a fuel rail of a combustion engine. The coupling device includes a fuel injector cup configured to be hydraulically coupled to the fuel rail and to engage a fuel inlet portion of the fuel injector, a plate element fixedly coupled to the fuel injector cup and comprising a groove, and a snap ring arranged in the groove and configured to fixedly couple the plate element to the fuel injector to retain the fuel injector in the fuel injector cup in direction of a central longitudinal axis of the fuel injector and to prevent a movement of the fuel injector relative to the plate element in a first direction of the central longitudinal axis. A circlip arranged axially between the fuel injector and the plate element prevents a movement of the fuel injector relative to the plate element in a second, opposite direction of the central longitudinal axis.

Fuel injector assembly

A coupling arrangement () includes a housing (), at least one locking element () designed to at least partly surround the housing () forming a first area of contact () with the housing () via a positive locking or frictional connection to limit rotational movement of the housing (), and a connecting element (). The connecting element (), arranged at least partly circumferentially around the housing () and being cylindrical with a center axis (X), has at least one locking recess () designed to at least partly take in the respective locking element () to limit rotational movement of the connecting element () via positive locking. The housing (), the locking element () and the connecting element () are designed and arranged such as to limit movement of the housing () relative to the connecting element () at least in one direction of the center axis (X).

Coupling arrangement and connection assembly

Coupling device for hydraulically and mechanically coupling a fuel injector to a combustion engine fuel rail, having a fuel injector cup with a central longitudinal axis hydraulically coupled to the rail and engaging a fuel inlet portion of the injector, a first ring element fixedly coupled to the cup, and a second ring element fixedly coupled to the injector. One of the ring elements has a collar arranged radially outside the other elements and extending from the one element in direction of the longitudinal axis. The collar has a recess facing the central longitudinal axis. A circlip is arranged in the recess and arranged and designed to form a positive fitting coupling between the first and second ring elements. The circlip prevents a movement of the first ring element relative to the second element retaining the fuel injector in the fuel injector cup in direction of the central longitudinal axis.

Coupling device for hydraulically and mechanically coupling a fuel injector to a fuel rail of a combustion engine. The fuel injector has a central longitudinal axis. The coupling device has a fuel injector cup being designed to be hydraulically coupled to the fuel rail and to engage a fuel inlet portion of the fuel injector, a first plate element being fixedly coupled to the fuel injector cup, the first plate element comprising a recess, and a second plate element being fixedly coupled to the fuel injector and being arranged in the recess and being fixedly coupled to the first plate element to retain the fuel injector in the fuel injector cup in direction of the central longitudinal axis. The fuel injector comprises a groove. A snap ring is arranged in the groove of the fuel injector and is designed to fixedly couple the second plate element to the fuel injector.

A fluid injector assembly has a fluid injector () with a fluid inlet portion (), a fluid injector cup () with an inner surface (), an outer surface () and a heating device (). The fluid inlet portion () of the fluid injector () has a sealing ring () being arranged and designed to sealingly engage the inner surface () of the fluid injector cup (). The fluid injector cup () is designed to couple the heating device () thermally to the sealing ring () of the inlet portion () and to couple the fluid inlet portion () mechanically.

A coupling arrangement for coupling a fuel injector to a fuel rail of a combustion engine, has a fuel injector cup having a central longitudinal axis and is coupled to the fuel rail at a first axial end area of the fuel injector cup, a housing of the fuel injector being arranged at the central longitudinal axis facing a second axial end area of the fuel injector cup, an O-ring seal being arranged between the housing and the fuel injector cup at an axially overlapping area of the fuel injector cup and the housing, a back-up ring being arranged at least partly circumferentially the housing such as to prevent the O-ring seal to be released from the housing, and a separating element being arranged at least partly circumferentially the housing between the O-ring seal and the back-up ring to prevent a contact of the O-ring seal with the back-up ring.

Coupling arrangement and fuel injector

Coupling device for hydraulically and mechanically coupling a fuel injector to a fuel rail of a combustion engine, the coupling device having a fuel injector cup having a central longitudinal axis and being designed to be hydraulically coupled to the rail and to engage a fuel inlet portion of the injector, a first ring element being fixedly coupled to the cup, a second ring element being fixedly coupled to the injector, and a shell element with a first and second shell part. The first shell part is fixedly coupled to the second shell part. The first and second ring elements are axially arranged between the first and second shell part. The shell element is designed and arranged in a way that the first and second ring element are in engagement with the shell element to retain the injector in the cup in direction of the central longitudinal axis.

A coupling arrangement has a fuel injector cup with a central longitudinal axis coupled to a fuel rail at a first axial end area and to a ring element at a second axial end area by a circlip. The cup has at least two slots arranged at the second end area and at least two grooves arranged at least partly circumferentially the cup and axially overlapping with the slots. The ring element is arranged at the central longitudinal axis facing the second end area and coupled to a housing. The ring element has at least two protrusions facing the cup having at least two grooves arranged at least partly circumferentially the ring element in a common plane with the grooves. The circlip is arranged at least partly circumferentially the cup at least partly in the grooves and arranged at least partly circumferentially the ring element at least partly in the grooves.
