An opening cylinder for an open-end spinning device has a core piece over which the opening cylinder is fastened on a drive shaft and a tooth-set carrier supporting the tooth-set. The tooth set-carrier is fastened to the core piece by a clip connection in the axial direction. Additionally, the opening cylinder has a device for the form-fitting connection of the core piece and tooth-set carrier in the circumferential direction with a projecting part and a corresponding recess. The tooth-set carrier is fastened with a clip connection to a core piece of the opening cylinder in the axial direction. The tooth-set carrier has a projecting part for the form-fitting connection with the core piece in circumferential direction.

A thread draw-off nozzle () for an open-end spinning device has a draw-off nozzle funnel () that contains a yarn deflection zone () for deflecting a yarn () produced during the yarn draw-off process. A disintegrator apparatus for textile machines is provided that includes a plurality of teeth at a tooth spacing (L) of no greater than about 20 mm and preferably less than about 12 mm. The teeth generally include two sections. A first section is located at a tooth apex and exhibits a positive or at least a vertical forward rake (W). A second section is at an incline, falling in the direction of movement of the operative equipment. The separation distance between the apex of the tooth and a tangential joining point of the vertical tangent creates a transition zone between the first and second sections and forms a technologically effective tooth height (H). The ratio of the technologically effective tooth height to the spacing between teeth no greater than about 1.

The invention is relative to opening devices for spinning machines, especially open-end spinning machines, that are provided with clothing wires or rings for separating fibers of a supplied sliver. The opening device is characterized in that the clothing wires are pre-bent in accordance with the geometry of a carrier ring, or the clothing rings have the desired geometry of the finished part, and that the particular workpiece surfaces have an at least two-coating construction in which an outer coating is a hard-substance coating. The hard-substance coating consists entirely or partially of especially hard hard-substance components and rests on a substrate layer located underneath it.

A sawtooth wire to be laid in a groove of a shredding-element-carrier of a disintegrating roll of an open-end spinning apparatus is brought into a shape, which essentially represents that shape, which the sawtooth wire is to assume on the shredding-element carrier. The sawtooth wire is preshaped on a dummy body, the circumference of which predominately conforms to that of the shredding-element carrier, or the sawtooth wire is directly preshaped on the shredding-element carrier of the disintegrating roll. The preshaped sawtooth wire is subsequently hardened, preferably inductively with the aid of a high frequency alternating current with a frequency of more than 1000 kHz. In this manner, a disintegrating roll is made, the abrasion resistant shredding element of which, after the preshaping, i.e., after is securement on the shredding-element carrier, is a hardened shredding element.

For the design of an opening cylinder () for an open-end spinning device where the opening cylinder () has a face (), it is proposed that the base body () of the opening cylinder () be located on the end of a shaft () away from the bearing (), whereby an axial distance () exists between the base body () and the bearing (). To expose the gap () for maintenance purposes, the clothing holder () is designed so as to be removable in the axial direction across the bearing (), whereby the face () towards the bearing () is formed on the clothing holder ().

To improve the known step bearings for the support of open-end spinning rotors, it is proposed to design the bearing body with a machine-side support and a rest for the spinning rotor. According to the invention, a flat bearing surface constituting one end of the bearing body is provided as the rest for the spinning rotor. The flat bearing surface is preferably designed as a bearing plate of an aerostatic step bearing capable of being subjected to compressed air.
