A raised-level built-in cooking appliance, such as a wall-mounted oven, has a muffle and a bottom-side muffle opening. The latter can be closed with a lowerable bottom door. A drive device produces a lifting movement of the bottom door. In order to determine the weight of a cooking item, the wall-mounted cooking appliance has a weight detection device that determines the weight load on the bottom door.

Raised-level built-in cooking appliance

A high-level built-in oven unit having a housing with a heated cooking chamber having a floor opening therein. The chamber has a lowerable trap-door movable between a position closing the floor opening and a lowered position opening the floor opening. The trap-door is movable by a lifting device, which has lifting elements mounted outside of the cooking chamber.

High-level built-in oven unit

A raised-level built-in cooking appliance, such as a wall-mounted oven, has a housing with a cooking chamber that is downwardly open. A floor chamber opening is selectively closed by a lowerable trapdoor. A door guide enables the bottom door to be lowered along a lifting path. The trapdoor guide has a first guide element on the housing side and a second guide element on the trapdoor side. In addition, at least one intermediate element is provided so that the trapdoor may be lowered over as long a lifting path as possible. The intermediate element connects the first guide element to the second guide element and extends the lifting path of the trapdoor.

A raised-level cooking appliance has a heating chamber with a lowerable trapdoor and a drive device. The drive device is configured to lower and lift the trapdoor. The drive mechanism is subject to a tension force, counteracting a weight of the trapdoor. The drive for moving the trapdoor may be switched off when the trapdoor comes into contact with an upper or lower stop in a simpler and more reliable manner. A control device controls the drive device in dependence on a magnitude of the tension force acting on the drive mechanism.

A cooking device with a muffle bounding a cooking space, a linear door for closing a muffle opening and a drive device for moving the linear door to open or close the cooking space. In order to increase the operational reliability the cooking device has an anti-trapping device which detects an object outside the muffle opening between the inside of the linear door and a front face of the muffle frame. The anti-trapping device prevents trapping of the object between the linear door and the front face of the muffle frame when the object is detected.

Cooking device

A wall-mounted cooking appliance has a muffle and a bottom opening that can be closed by a lowerable bottom door. A drive mechanism is provided for lifting the bottom door. To prevent the jamming of objects that have been inadvertently placed below the base door, the novel wall-mounted cooking appliance has a control unit that detects an angle of inclination of the base door and controls the drive device in accordance with the magnitude of the angle of inclination to reduce the latter.
