A vehicle including at least one vehicle door having a peripheral are surrounding door gasket wherein a hinge or swivel axis penetrates the vehicle body so that the vehicle door, in such a manner that the vehicle door during opening, is moved in a partial zone toward the interior of the vehicle and in the remaining region in an opposite direction, and with the door gasket is located so that it completely seals the external or outer door gap, formed between the vehicle or outer door and the body, at or in the immediate vicinity of the outer wall of the door.

A vehicle door having an outer wall and an inner wall spaced therefrom with at least the outer wall and/or the inner wall consisting at least extensively of a synthetic resin. A reinforcing member is completely embedded in the synthetic resin material, with the reinforcing member forming a closed frame corresponding to a contour of the vehicle door. An impact protection strut is provided which extends between at least one of the hinge support and door lock support and transmits forces acting laterally on the vehicle door to the vehicle body.

Door for a motor vehicle

A motor vehicle door including a supportive and dimensionally stable skeleton which, together with an inner shell, constitutes a one-piece door body, to which an outer shell is attached as a separate element. The inner shell and the outer shell are fashioned from a synthetic resin and the supportive skeleton connects hinge members with the door lock of the door. The inner skin is provided with at least one of troughs or depressions and mounting bores or apertures.

A vehicle roof with a movable portion is provided which covers a roof opening accompanied by lateral drip mouldings and can be pushed back along guideways formed in the drip mouldings over the fixed roof portion. The movable roof portion (1) is in the form of a sandwich component, preferably made of plastic, which covers the whole width of the roof and is supported with lateral slide flanges (11) directly on the basis of the lateral external drip mouldings (9) of the roof frame (3) by means of an elastic sealing material (12). The movable roof portion (1) is pivotally supported at its leading edge to the roof frame (3) and fixed at its rear edge by a separable toggle hinge (22). The movable roof part (1) can be pushed back over the roof external surface after opening of its rear edge and releasing of the toggle hinge (22) by hand, whereby the lateral slide-flanges (11) are received by guideways (15) of the lateral rainwater deflectors (14).

An elastic sealing and mounting strip, especially for windows in motor vehicle bodywork. The strip has a main body portion with an arch that covers the gap between the window and the bodywork. A groove receives the edge of the window and a lip extends over the flange edge of a window opening. A number of sealing lips are supported against abutting parts of the bodywork and are supported by harder inserts or are sprung as a result of the presence of hollow chambers in the strip.
