This invention provides a polymer thick film electrically conductive paste composition, comprising conductive metal powder, a resin blend of polyol and phenoxy resin, blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate and one or more polar, aprotic solvents. In one embodiment the paste composition is used to form electrically conductive adhesive. In another embodiment the paste composition is used to form an electrically conductive polymer thick film.

The invention relates to a method for preparing a relief printing plate from a printing plate precursor wherein at least an end of the precursor is attached to a leader forming a composite printing form precursor that securely mounts the precursor in a treatment processor. The present method advantageously allows for all or substantially all of the area of the precursor to be utilized for forming the relief surface suitable for printing.

Composite printing form precursor and method for preparing a printing form precursor for treatment

A relief printing form is prepared from a photosensitive element. An in-situ mask is formed and disposed above a photopolymerizable layer of the photosensitive element, the element is exposed to actinic radiation through the in-situ mask in an environment having an inert gas and a concentration of oxygen between about 30,000 ppm and about 7500 ppm to form at least a polymerized portion and an unpolymerized portion of the layer, and the exposed element is processed by treating with at least one washout solution selected from solvent solution, aqueous solution, semi-aqueous solution, or water.

Method for preparing a relief printing form

The invention provides a method for preparing a relief printing form from a photosensitive element. The method includes forming an in-situ mask disposed above a photopolymerizable layer of the photosensitive element, exposing the element to actinic radiation through the in-situ mask in an environment having an inert gas and a concentration of oxygen between about 50,000 ppm and about 2000 ppm to form at least a polymerized portion and an unpolymerized portion of the layer, and treating by heating the exposed element to a temperature sufficient to cause the unpolymerized portion to melt, soften, or flow.

In a method of using a donor element in a radiation-induced thermal transfer process, an assemblage is provided that includes a donor element and a receiver element, wherein the donor element has a support layer and a transfer layer having one side adjacent the support layer and the other side adjacent the receiver element. After image-wise exposing the assemblage to radiation whereby a portion of the transfer layer is transferred to the receiver element, relative movement between the support layer and the receiver element is provided before separating the donor element from the receiver element. Advantages include improved edge straightness, image width predictability, improved thermal mass transfer, and improved color filters.
