An extendable axle with wheels on a common centerline preferably includes a base housing, a left axle device, a right axle device, a left extension cylinder and a right extension cylinder. The left axle device slides into a left side of the base housing and the right axle device slides into a right side of the base housing. The left axle device preferably includes a base tube, a steering knuckle, a drive motor and a steering cylinder. The steering knuckle is pivotally engaged with an end of the base tube. The drive motor is retained on the steering knuckle. The steering cylinder pivots the steering knuckle. The right axle device is the left axle device rotated 180 degrees. The left extension cylinder extends the left axle device. The right extension cylinder extends the right axle device. The left drive motor and the right drive motor are on the same centerline.

Offset extendable axle with wheels on common centerline

A combination tie down lug and step riser includes a foot support portion, a hold down loop and a mounting portion. The combination tie down lug and step riser is preferably fabricated from a single piece of material. The foot support portion includes a plurality of projections extending upward from a top edge thereof. The hold down loop extends from one end of the foot rest portion. The hold down loop includes a U-shaped opening with the U-shaped opening positioned along a horizontal axis. The mounting portion extends from an opposing end of the foot support portion. Opposing ends of the hold down loop and the mounting portion are attached to an excavator base with welding or any other suitable attachment method.

Combination tie down lug and step riser

A shimless wear pad preferably includes a wear pad, an adjustment plate and at least one fastener. The wear pad includes a wear surface on a top and a wear tapered surface on a bottom. The wear pad includes at least one counter sunk cavity for retaining a threaded insert for threadably engaging the fastener. The adjustment plate includes an adjustment tapered surface on a top and a support surface on a bottom. An adjustment slot is formed through substantially all of a length of the adjustment plate. The adjustment slot provides clearance for the at least one fastener. The adjustment plate will be mounted between the wear pad and a stationary structure. The wear surface of the wear pad will make contact with a moving surface of a moving structure. The support surface of the adjustment plate makes contact with a retention surface of the stationary structure.

Wear pad

An adjustable wear pad with a wear indicator preferably includes a wear pad, a push plate, at least two pushing fasteners, at least two retention fasteners and at least two threaded inserts. The at least two threaded inserts are retained in the wear pad. Each threaded insert threadably receives one of the retention fasteners. The push plate preferably includes a plate member, a hook extension and at least one wear sensor. The hook extension extends from one end of the plate member and the pair of wear sensors extend from an opposing end thereof. A hook pocket is formed in an end of the wear pad to receive the hook extension. At least two retention clearance holes are formed through the plate member. The adjustable wear pad is retained on a stationary structure and the wear pad is in contact with a moving structure.

Adjustable wear pad

An independent front axle suspension preferably includes a front drive axle, an upper suspension frame, a lower suspension frame, a pair of hydraulic cylinders and a pair of pivot plates. A front pivot plate is attached to a front and middle of the front drive axle and a rear pivot plate is attached to a rear and middle of the front drive axle. A rear of the upper suspension frame is pivotally engaged with a rear of the lower suspension frame. A front and rear of the front drive axle is pivotally retained in the lower suspension frame with the pair of pivot plates. One end of the pair of hydraulic cylinders are preferably spherically retained on opposing sides of the upper suspension frame. An opposing end of the pair of hydraulic cylinders are preferably spherically retained on opposing ends of the front drive axle.

Independent front axle suspension

A method of making a vehicle brake rotor is provided, including manufacturing a friction ring with an opening, an annular flange projecting axially relative to a face of the friction ring, and a plurality of spaced lugs projecting radially from the flange. A hub is manufactured with a plurality of recesses integrally upon the friction ring. Next, the hub is manufactured or machined so that outermost ends of the lugs are visible from an exterior of the hub.

Vehicle brake rotor and method of making same

A rotating rectifier module for rectifying a multiphase alternating current signal provided by a multiphase alternating current power supply includes a housing, a circuit board, a plurality of input terminals, a first output terminal, a second output terminal, and a plurality of rectifier circuits. The housing has an outer surface, an inner surface defining a central opening for receipt of a rotatable shaft, and at least one cavity located between the outer and inner surfaces. The circuit board is mounted in a plane substantially normal to the outer surface. The input terminals are located on the circuit board. Each input terminal provides for electrical connection to one phase of the power supply. The first and second output terminals are located on the circuit board for electrical connection to a direct current load. The rectifier circuits are electrically connected in parallel between the first and second output terminals. Each rectifier circuit is mounted inside one of the at least one cavity on an outermost surface that defines the cavity and is electrically connected to one of the input terminals.
