A cable control which can be mounted in a simple manner in an expanding lock of a braking device for a motor vehicle, a so-called cable slack of the cable end is required in the area of the expanding lock. For eliminating this cable slack again in a simple manner, a holding device is provided in the wheel carrier which comprises a sliding sleeve and of a fixing sleeve, between which locking devices are arranged, so that the cable slack can be eliminated when the sliding sleeve is slid in the fixing sleeve.

Mounting arrangement for a cable control of a parking brake of a motor vehicle

A pedal of a foot parking brake is prevented from migrating into the interior of a vehicle in the event of a crash by way of a two-part pedal receiving device. The pedal receiving device has a stationary console connected with a center console cross member as well as a bearing element swivellably arranged therein. The bearing element is connected with the console by way of an adjusting and fixing device. The fixing device has hook-shaped elements, and the adjusting device has a bolt in the console extending in a slotted guide of the bearing element.

Holding system for a pedal of a motor vehicle

In an adjusting device for wheel brake cables of a manually-operated parking brake, said cables are held in a yoke and are connected by means of the deflection element to a cable, which is fastened to a foot pedal for actuation. Through the intermediary of an adjustable compensating element, the yoke is braced by means of a spring element against a bracing member on a pull rod. The compensating element can be fixed by means of a setscrew in different inclined positions in relation to the bracing member; and, corresponding to this bracing member, the compensating element can be displaced on the pull rod and can be fixed on the pull rod by means of a threaded nut.

Adjusting device for wheel brake cables of a manually-operated parking brake

For the connection of the Bowden cable coming from the pedal with the Bowden cables leading to the wheel brakes, the foot parking brake for vehicles has a connection element by means of which the cables are connected with one another. As a compact constructional unit, the connection element is provided with a sleeve part in which a pivot pin can be inserted by means of which swivel levers are connected for the connection of the cable and Bowden controls, and can be fixed as a constructional unit on a vehicle body part, for example, a transmission tunnel.

Plate-cylinder bearing arrangement for a printing press having a plate cylinder and a rubber-blanket cylinder mounted on respective shafts, the plate cylinder and its shaft being displaceable, and a side-register adjusting device serving for position correction includes two bearing levers extending in a direction towards ends of the blanket-cylinder shaft for maintaining the plate-cylinder shaft in its axial position, the plate-cylinder shaft being connected at each of its ends through the intermediary of self-aligning bearings to one of the bearing levers, respectively, and the bearing levers being connected to a printing-press housing, through the intermediary of spherical-cup bearings, so as to be swivellable in axial direction of the plate cylinder.

Plate-cylinder bearing arrangement

A device for adjusting the circumferential register at rotary printing machines. At least one pulley engaging in a groove of a grooved cam is fastened to the gearwheel. Via tappets, the grooved cam is guided at the cylinder body so as to be axially displaceable. The groove is obliquely disposed as seen axially, and the grooved cam is axially movable via an adjusting means. A simple adjustment of the circumferential register is permitted, and such adjustment can be effected with great accuracy during machine operation. The drive forces caused by the gearwheel may be transmitted onto the cylinder body largely without play.

Device for adjusting the circumferential register at rotary printing

A device for adjusting the circumferential register of a printing machine includes a gearwheel for driving a cylinder disposed coaxially therewith. Adjusting elements are connected to the gearwheel in angular position thereof for turning the gearwheel, during operation of the printing machine, over a defined angle relative to the cylinder about the common axis thereof. An adjusting device is located outside the gearwheel and is shiftable in axial direction. The adjusting device is coupled to the adjusting elements connected to the gearwheel. The adjusting elements connected to the gearwheel include at least one two-armed angle lever having a swivel axis disposed perpendicularly to the axis of the cylinder at a defined distance therefrom. The angle lever has first and second legs, the first leg being swivellably connected to the cylinder via a connecting rod at a connection location movable in tangential direction relative to the gearwheel. A cam roller is fastened to an end of the second leg. The cam roller has an axis of rotation extending perpendicularly to the axis of the cylinder. The adjusting device located outside the gearwheel includes a shifting wheel having a groove disposed outside the gearwheel in the form of an adjusting device. The contact surface of the cam roller abuts against a radial lateral surface of the groove.
