A lighting system includes a light source, a light redirection element, and a movement mechanism coupled to the light source and the light redirection element. The movement mechanism is configured to simultaneously or stepwise move the light source and the light redirection element between a top lighting position and an interlighting position.

A unitary mounting clip for mounting equipment to a building structure is disclosed. In an embodiment, the unitary mounting clip includes a base, a mounting structure rising from a top surface of the base, at least one elastic arm having a friction feature, and a snap holder extending from a bottom surface of the base. In some embodiments, the mounting structure includes a boss and a distal mounting tab, and the unitary mounting clip is attached to the building structure by inserting the boss and distal mounting tab through an opening of the building structure and then rotating the unitary mounting clip ninety degrees so that the friction feature of the at least one elastic arm is biased into contact with a wall portion of the building structure and locks the unitary mounting clip in place.

A lighting device includes a light emitting diode (LED) that has a main axis of light emission. The lighting device also includes a lens element positioned adjacent the LED. The lens element has a geometry defined by at least partial revolution of a cross-sectional profile around an axis of revolution. The lens element is positioned relative to the LED such that the axis of revolution crosses the main axis of light emission of the LED. The lens element is operative to apply total internal reflection to at least some light rays emitted from the LED.

Provided is a method for providing a wire connection to a printed circuit board. The method includes attaching a first end of a wire at a first location on the printed circuit board and attaching a second end of the wire at a second location of the printed circuit board, to form an arched wire. The method further includes applying an encapsulant on the printed circuit board, the encapsulant forming a film through which the arched wire protrudes. Furthermore, the method includes cutting the arched wire to yield an out-of-plane wire connected to the printed circuit board.
