An LED lamp comprises: a lamp base having live and neutral contacts for supplying electrical power to the LED lamp; a substantially hollow lamp holder; a PCB assembly comprising: first and second connection pins; a table portion attached to the top of each of the first and second connection pins; and at least one connecting structure formed at a top surface of the table portion and electrically coupled to the first and second connection pins; an LED PCB comprising at least one LED affixed to a PCB and an LED PCB connector having connector pins electrically coupled to the at least one LED and to the at least one connecting structure of the table portion; and a heat sink being configured to thermally couple to the at least one LED, and a globe having a bottom portion which is thermally coupled to an outer surface of the heat sink.

Integrally formed light emitting diode light wire and uses thereof

A flexible, integrally formed single piece light emitting diode (LED) light wire that provides a smooth, uniform lighting effect from all directions of the LED light wire. The integrally formed single piece LED light wire contains a conductive base comprising first and second bus elements formed from a conductive material. The bus elements distribute power from a power source to LEDs that are mounted on the first and second bus elements so that it draws power from and adds mechanical stability to the first and second bus elements. The flexible, integrally formed single piece LED light wire is assembled so that the first and second bus elements are connected to each other prior to the LED being mounted and such integrally formed single piece LED light wire is formed without a substrate.

Integrally formed LED light wires are provided, comprising a plurality of dynamically addressible LED modules, each LED module comprising one or more LEDs; a microcontroller; and one or more ports, said microcontroller being configured to: check a status of at least one of said one or more ports; if the status of the port corresponds to a predetermined state: assign the LED module to which said microcontroller belongs to a first display address, and send signals to said microcontroller of a neighboring LED module, said signals assigning respective further display address to the neighboring LED module. The integrally formed single piece LED light wire may include built-in sensors/detectors and/or a plurality of LED modules with individually controlled LEDs via microprocessors. The integrally formed single piece LED light wire may also include an interlocking alignment system which permits the coupling of at least two LED light wires. Further, a plurality of the integrally formed single piece LED light wires may create a lighting panel.

A multi-way connector connects a plurality of lighting apparatuses together, wherein connector comprises a plurality of lighting connectors, each lighting connector comprising an upper housing having plural connector pins, and one or more interlocking grooves; and a lower housing which has a plurality of connector pin guide holes, and one or more interlocking tongue portions, the lower housing being connectable with the upper housing to form each lighting connector by coupling at least one of the interlocking grooves with at least one of the interlocking tongue portions, and by coupling at least one of the plural connector pins with at least one of the connector pin guide holes; a multi-way connecting portion configured to permit power and/or signals to pass between and among the plurality of lighting connectors; and plural flexible connectors electrically connecting each lower housing with the multi-way connecting portion.
