A vaporizer device including a vaporizer cartridge configured to efficiently and effectively heat a non-liquid vaporizable material is described. The vaporizer cartridge may include a heating element configured to vaporize the vaporizable material by delivery of heat to the vaporizable material. The cartridge may include a cartridge contact in electrical communication with the heating element. The cartridge contact may be configured to couple to a receptacle contact along a vaporizer body of the vaporizer device having a power source to allow power to pass from the power source to the heating element. The heating element can include electrically resistive features such that current traveling along the heating element can cause the heating element to increase in temperature to within a desired temperature range. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.

Cartridge-based heat not burn vaporizer

A vaporizer device includes a vaporizer cartridge having a reservoir that holds a vaporizable material, a heating element, and a wicking element that can draw the vaporizable material to the heating element to be vaporized. The vaporizer cartridge is configured for coupling to a vaporizer device body and containing the vaporizable material. The wicking element of the vaporizer cartridge may include tobacco.

Vaporizer device and cartridge

A vaporization device includes a vaporizer body including a vaporizable material insert receptacle configured to receive a vaporizable material insert including vaporizable material. The vaporizable material insert can include an airflow pathway and an airflow control feature at least partly made out of vaporizable material. Various embodiments of the airflow control feature are described that include one or more features for controlling an amount of heat transferred from heated airflow traveling along the airflow pathway and the vaporizable material of the airflow control feature.
