An improved LCD back light panel lamp connecting structure. A high voltage end and a feedback end of the adjacent cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) modules alternate, and the feedback end of the CCFL is coupled to a single return board. The return board is coupled to a pulse width modulation (PWM) control unit so that the return board feeds back the current to the PWM control unit. The high voltage end of the CCFL is coupled to a transformer.

LCD back light panel lamp connecting structure

An improved LCD back light panel lamp connecting structure comprises cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL), and adjacent CCFL modules having high voltage ends and feedback ends arranged alternately, and the feedback ends on both sides of the CCFLs respectively coupled to two return boards. The feedback end of the CCFL is coupled to a proximate return board, and the return board is disposed separately at both ends of the CCFLs. Two return boards are coupled to a pulse width modulation (PWM) control unit so that the two return boards feed back the current to the PWM control unit. The high voltage end of the CCFL is coupled to a transformer.

A transformer level driving circuit mainly aims to drive a medium voltage system. It includes a control unit to generate a resonant frequency and output phase signal waveforms, and a medium voltage driving circuit which includes a floating level unit and a driving unit which receives a medium voltage electric input. The driving unit actuates opening and closing at different time to enable the floating level unit to output a voltage floating level thereby to drive a ceramic transformer to control the medium voltage system through a low voltage level.

Transformer level driving circuit

A piezoelectric power supply has a piezoelectric transformer circuit configuration which is alterable flexibly according to varying loading power requirements. It includes a control unit (control IC), a power switch (MOSFET) and an inductor to drive a piezoelectric transformer unit to actuate a high voltage and power load such as a cold cathode fluorescent lamp. The piezoelectric transformer unit consists of a plurality of piezoelectric transformers coupled in parallel. The specification of the piezoelectric transformers (single sheet piezoelectric transformers or low level laminated piezoelectric transformers) and parallel coupling number may be altered according to the required power of the load to change the voltage and current output by the piezoelectric transformers.

Piezoelectric power supply

A ceramic transformer level driving circuit mainly aims to transform a low voltage signal to another low voltage signal through an amplified signal to drive a medium voltage system. It includes a control unit to generate a resonant frequency and output phase signal waveforms, a waveform transformation unit to provide phase signals and perform waveform phase transformation for the phase signal waveforms, and a medium voltage driving circuit which includes a floating level unit and a driving unit which receives a medium voltage electric input. The driving unit actuates opening and closing at different time to enable the floating level unit to output a voltage floating level thereby to drive a ceramic transformer to control the medium voltage system through a low voltage level.

Ceramic transformer level driving circuit

A light-source assembly of a backlight module provides light sources to a liquid crystal display. The light-source assembly of the backlight module includes a bottom plate, a driving circuit board and a plurality of light-emitting elements. The driving circuit board is disposed in the middle of the bottom plate. The light-emitting element has two electrodes disposed at two ends of the light-emitting element and a uniform light section disposed on a tube body of the light-emitting element, wherein the electrodes of the light-emitting elements are respectively interlaced and connected to the driving circuit board. Simultaneously the uniform light portions are expanded to two sides of the driving circuit board outside, and the uniform light portion of the adjacent light-emitting elements located at the driving circuit board are also interlaced in parallel.

Light source assembly of a backlight module

A method and apparatus for modulating light of CCFLs that couples frequency alteration and pulse width modulation (PWM) approaches to change output voltage and current of a piezoelectric transformer to modulate the luminosity of a CCFL. The invention includes a PWM controller to alter operation cycle and a frequency control IC to change resonant frequency that drives the piezoelectric transformer at different operation cycles thereby to modulate the luminosity of the CCFL and improve the life span of the piezoelectric transformer.

Light modulation method and apparatus for cold cathode fluorescent lamps

A current control apparatus for fluorescent lamps adopted for use on high voltage actuated a fluorescent lamp includes a high frequency pulse modulator to provide voltage distribution signals, a power switch which is a MOSFET to output actuation signals, a conversion unit to receive the voltage distribution signals and perform voltage transformation, a piezoelectric transformer to receive the transformed voltage and perform voltage transformer, and the fluorescent lamp connecting to the piezoelectric transformer. The high frequency pulse modulator obtains a feedback current from the output ends of the fluorescent lamps through the signal processor to redistribute current and maintain evenness of the current in the fluorescent lamp.

Current control apparatus for fluorescent lamps

The present invention is a lamp current control circuit applied to a high voltage outputting combination for providing uniformity of lamp current of at least one load. Voltage dividing units of the lamp current control circuit receive high power signals output by the high voltage outputting combination and redistributes high power signals to lower power signals. A signal-processing unit receives the lower power signals distributed by the voltage-dividing units, compares the lower power signals with each other, and outputs the compensation power signal to the control unit. The compensation power signal is compared with a reference power signal of a variable unit, and a comparison power signal is output, thereby uniformly distributing the lamp current inside the load. For the above reason, it prevents power loss inside the load or damage to the load from abnormal lamp currents.

Lamp current control circuit

An improved LCD back light panel lamp connecting structure comprises at least one set of cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL), each having its high voltage end and feedback end arranged alternately, and the feedback ends on both sides of the CCFL respectively coupled to two return boards. Such two return boards are coupled to a pulse width modulation (PWM) control unit, so that the two return boards feed back the current to the PWM control unit. The high voltage end of the CCFL is coupled to a transformer.

Piezoelectric transformation driving apparatus

This invention discloses an arc discharge protection device for preventing an arc discharge effect produced by an abnormal phenomenon in the high-voltage output area. After a voltage conversion unit of this arc discharge protection device receives the high-voltage arc discharge signal in the high-voltage output area, the signal is converted into a low-voltage arc discharge signal. A filter unit is provided to determine the potential and filter the abnormal frequency signal, and then the rectify unit will receive the abnormal frequency signal and output an arc wave clutter after the rectification. A touch control unit will detect the arc wave clutter and output a trigger signal to stop the operation of the control unit or the driving unit, and thus achieving the purpose of preventing sparks or burning caused by the heat accumulated in the peripheral components during the arc discharge effect.

Electric arc discharge protection device

A piezoelectric transformation driving apparatus to drive a plurality of high voltage systems through a low voltage system includes a control unit and a driving unit to output first driving signals of the same phase and same frequency to drive a transformation unit, a plurality of piezoelectric units and loads. A ceramic transformer level driving circuit may be included to drive the transformation unit, the piezoelectric units and loads through a voltage floating level so that a medium voltage system may be controlled by a low voltage level.

An arc discharge protection apparatus to prevent arc discharge from occurring in a high voltage output zone caused by abnormal conditions includes an electrode plate to absorb high voltage arc discharge signals released by a voltage boosting unit in the high voltage output zone. A voltage switch unit receives the high voltage arc discharge signals absorbed by the electrode plate and transforms to low voltage arc discharge signals. A rectification unit receives and rectifies the low voltage arc discharge signals and outputs an arc hybrid wave. A trigger unit detects the arc hybrid wave and outputs a trigger signal to stop operation of the control unit or driving unit, thereby prevents arc discharge from causing damage to the surrounding elements resulting from accumulation of heat or sparks.
