A chair may include a seat, a chair back and a frame that may be connected to the seat and/or chair back. The chair back and the frame may include engaging portions and/or receiving portions that may be sized and configured to contact, abut, engage and/or interlock with each other to connect the chair back to the frame. The engaging portions and/or receiving portions may be sized and configured to connect the chair back to the frame using a friction, interference and/or snap fit.

A table may include a handle to enhance portability. For example, if the table is a fold-in-half table, a first portion of a handle may be connected to a first portion of the table top and a second portion of the handle may be connected to a second portion of the table top. The first and second sections of the handle may be collectively grasped, which may help prevent the table top from unintentionally unfolding. The table top may also include receiving portions sized configured to receive portions of the handle. This may allow, for example, at least a substantial portion of the handle to be disposed in the receiving portions when the handle is in a refracted position and at least a substantial portion of the handle to be disposed outside the receiving portions when the handle is in an extended position.

Chair

A table may include a table top and one or more leg assemblies. The table top may include a downwardly extending lip. The table may also include a frame, and the lip may include one or more receiving portions sized and configured to receive a portion of the frame. The receiving portions may also be sized and configured to receive a portion of a leg assembly. The table top may be constructed from molded plastic, such as blow-molded plastic, and the receiving portions may be integrally formed in the table top during the molding process.

Table

A table may include a table top and one or more legs or support pedestals. The table may also include one or more handles that may enhance the portability of the table. For example, if the table is a fold-in-half table, then the table top may include first and second sections that may be moved between a folded position and an unfolded position. The handle may include first and second sections that are connected to the first and second sections of the table top. The first and second sections of the handle may be collectively grasped, which may help prevent the table top from unintentionally unfolding. The table top may also include receiving portions that are sized configured to receive one or more portions of the handle.

A foldable table includes a table top having collapsible legs connected thereto. The table top includes a first table top section and a second table top section. A first hinge assembly hingedly connecting the first table top section to the second table top section such that the table top can selectively move between a folded position and an unfolded position. A latch engages with the first hinge assembly so as to releasably lock the first hinge assembly when the table top is in the unfolded position. In alternative embodiments, portions of the table top sections can interlock when the table is in the unfolded position. A handle can project from between the table top sections when the table is in the folded position.

A table that includes a table top with a first half which is pivotally connected to a second half. The first and second halves of the table top are movable between a first position in which the halves are generally aligned and a second position in which the halves are generally placed adjacent to each other. The first and second halves of the table top are preferably constructed from blow-molded plastic and each of the halves desirably have a generally hollow interior. The first and second halves of the table top may include interlocking portions that are interconnected when the halves are in the aligned position. Desirably, the interlocking portions have generally hollow interiors that are integrally formed with the generally hollow interiors of the halves of the table top during the blow-molding process. The table top may also include one or more overlapping portions that are interconnected when the halves of the table top are in the aligned position. The overlapping portions may also have generally hollow interiors that are integrally formed with the generally hollow interiors of the halves of the table top during the blow-molding process.

Portable folding table

Blow molded plastic structures are provided for use in various structures such as, but not limited to, tables, chairs, walls, backboards, storage bins, sports equipment and the like. The blow molded plastic structure has a first surface and a second surface extending between a first end and a second end and forming a chamber there between. A plurality of depressions is formed on the second surface and extends into the chamber. The depressions are usually unitary structures formed by a depression wall. Generally, the steeper the depression wall, the more strength is provided to the structure. In addition, where the plurality of depressions has a low profile and a greater density, increased strength is provided to the structure. The depressions may or may not be joined to the first surface.
