A liquid infusion system has an infusion chamber with open top and bottom ends. The top end has a removable cover. Flavored ingredients are placed in the chamber. A lower housing is rotatably secured to the bottom end of the chamber. A one-way valve located within the lower housing allows liquid flow in only a single direction. A stopper configured to be inserted into a bottle of virgin liquid is connected to the lower housing. When the system is tilted downward, virgin liquid is free to flow from the bottle and into the chamber. Bringing the bottle to vertical closes the valve and allows the virgin liquid and any ingredients placed in the chamber to steep, to produce a flavored infused beverage. The lower housing can be rotated and locked into a position in relation to the infusion chamber to prevent the flow of liquid into or out of the chamber.

Bottle top liquid infusion system

The kitchen tool is composed of: a handle, a support yoke, and a crushing plate. The handle is connected to the support yoke. The support yoke is shaped to form a parabolic arch with arms that are biased to spring inward or outward in an alternative embodiment. The end of each arm has a mounting hole along with three locking holes. These pivot axles are connected to the mounting holes on the support yoke arms. The holes and posts are arranged such that they for two positions for the device. In a first position the crushing plate is place is a position perpendicular to the support yoke arms. In a second position the crushing plate is place is a position parallel to the support yoke which makes the device's profile much thinner and easier to fit into a standard kitchen drawer.

The tool includes a main handle made from steel or any other suitable tough metal or plastic, a button, a blade cartridge, two or more blades, a top blade holder, a bottom blade holder, an axle, a retaining ring, and a knob.

A kitchen hand tool for crushing, slicing, or juicing food products. The tool is operated by closing two handles that rotate a drive gear that engages the ratcheting tooth portion of a crush paddle resulting in the movement of the crush paddle toward a basket, crushing and discharge of the food item through the basket. A drive pawl forces the drive gear to rotate counterclockwise, which in turn forces ratcheting tooth portion and subsequently the crushing paddle down in a clockwise direction applying crushing force on the garlic or any item placed in the crushing area. As the drive gear turns until it clicks past a locking pawl. This cycle of opening and closing the handles is repeated until the crush paddle is fully advanced and can move no further and is against the basket.

A winged corkscrew has a lock box that prevents a non-stick coated worm from turning in a reverse direction and slipping out of a cork when two wings of the corkscrew are closed. The lock box locks onto a collar on a main shaft of the cork screw, and thereafter, a cam on the main shaft forms a one way rotational ratchet with the lock box. When the worm is fully inserted, the wings are lowered to remove the cork, but the ratchet prevents the worm from turning in reverse and slipping out of the cork. The corkscrew also has catches that center the corkscrew on the bottle and align the worm into the center of the cork. After the cork has been removed from the bottle, the lock box is unlocked to allow the cork to be removed.
