The invention relates to a device for adjusting a vehicle seat, the frame structure () of which can be adjusted using drive motors () having presupported gear units (), and the vehicle seat is accommodated on two seat rails () arranged parallel to each other. The frame structure () of the vehicle seat can be adjusted spherically using lifting elements () in two planes separated from each other.

There is provided an apparatus for regulating the position of an adjustably positionable vehicle part such as a window or movable roof. The apparatus includes an electric drive motor having a drive shaft which is axially displaceable within a fixed limit during driving operation of the shaft. The apparatus also includes a power transfer assembly having a driven member operatively connected to the drive shaft of the electric drive motor for driving movement thereby and a damping member for damping the axial displacement of the drive shaft of the electric motor in one axial direction. The apparatus further includes a housing having a chamber compatibly dimensioned with respect to the damping member for receiving the damping member therein in a press fit disposition.

A central interlocking system for a motor vehicle performs in a normal operation all opening and closing functions. A vehicle provided with the system can be opened and locked without the operation of door closing motors. The outer and inner handles can be selectively blocked individually and jointly by a motor operated control member having two parallel control discs which cooperate with two locking levers. The control member can be released for opening of the door also in a purely mechanical way by turning a door lock keybolt with a key. The locking system has a simple construction and locking motors operating without loads.

A power-assisted hand brake for motor vehicles, which can be operated in an automatic and power-assisted mode with the aid of an electric motor. If the power assisted brake fails, a conventional parking brake is operated mechanically to apply emergency brakes. The handbrake includes a rotatable spindle with a threaded nut thereon which operates the brake by use of the motor. A carrier plate and pivot plates function to disconnect the nut so that a hand-operated lever can be used to manually operate the brake.

An apparatus which serves to actuate the throttle valve of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle. The actuating device includes a reversible electric drive motor, the output shaft of which is operatively connected to the throttle valve, which is pivotable via a throttle valve shaft. The set-point pivoted position of the throttle valve can be predetermined by means of a gas pedal. A simple, economical design of such an actuating device is attained by coupling the throttle valve to a stop such that they rotate together; associated with the stop is a counterpart stop that is spring-loaded in the closing direction of the throttle valve by a restoring spring. The counterpart stop is coupled with the gas pedal in such a way that it is moved by the drive lever counter to the force of the restoring spring.

A wiping arrangement for windows of power vehicles has a wiping element with a wiper shaft, rotary direction-reversible drive having a rotatable driven element, swinging drive with a driving element rotatable about a center and provided with a gripping element and a guide, and connecting the driven element of said rotary drive with the wiper shaft of said wiping element so that when the driven element rotates in one direction the wiping element covers a circular, segment-shaped wiping field and performs wiping step over a predetermined wiping field, and when the driven element rotates in a reverse direction the gripping element arranged on the driving element of the swinging drive means moves radially away from the center with the aid of the guide and thereby the wiping element is transported to a parking position lying beyond the wiping field, a structural element connected and rotating together with the gripping element during the wiping step, but uncoupled from the gripping element for the radial movement of the latter, wherein the structural element is provided with a blocking element for blocking the structural element in position of the rotary direction reverse, and with a guiding element arranged on the structural element.

An arrangement for washing lenses of headlights has means for conveying a washing liquid, and a nozzle provided with a passage having an inlet portion communicating with the conveying means for admitting the washing liquid into the nozzle and an outlet portion having an open end for issuing the washing liquid from the nozzle. The outlet portion of the passage of the nozzle diverges towards the open end thereof, whereas the open end has a shape such that the flow of the washing liquid issuing from the nozzle has a shape corresponding to the shape of the lens to be washed. The outlet portion of the passage of the nozzle may be formed as a through bore open at an end face of the nozzle facing towards the lens to be washed, and the open end of the thus-formed outlet portion may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the lens. The outlet portion of the passage of the nozzle may also be defined by two grooves formed in a section of the nozzle adjacent to the end face thereof and open at the latter.
