The invention relates to a module for a heat pump, comprising an adsorption-desorption region, wherein in the region a bundle of pipes through which fluid can flow is arranged and a housing encloses the pipe bundle and a movable working medium in a sealing manner, wherein a supporting structure forms a mechanical support of a wall of the housing against the action of an external pressure.

A multi-fluid heat transfer device having a plate stack construction is disclosed which includes several plates which are stacked above one another and are provided with openings, through which several thermally interacting fluids can be guided. A construction is provided which consists of at least one first and at least one second flow duct plate unit which are arranged in the plate stack in an alternating manner, as well as of an intermediate connection cover plate unit, the first flow duct plate unit having one group and the second flow duct plate unit having two separate groups of respective side-by-side flow duct openings. Furthermore, connection duct openings for forming one distributor duct pair and collector duct pair respectively for each group of flow duct openings are placed in all plate units. As a result, a compactly constructed heat transfer device of a high heat transfer output is implemented by means of low manufacturing expenditures. The heat transfer device is usable as a high-temperature battery cooling element for an electric vehicle.

A heat transfer device with a plate sandwich structure includes at least two flow-duct-covering plates and one flow duct plate unit arranged in between which is formed of one or more superimposed flow duct plates each provided with flow duct breakthroughs. By means of the flow duct breakthroughs in one flow duct plate or by suitably overlapping flow duct breakthroughs of several adjoining flow duct plates, one or more flow paths are formed which extend predominantly in parallel to the plate plane between an inflow point and an outflow point. Such structures, capable of passing through one or more fluids passing through, are produced rather inexpensively and can be used, for example, as a battery cooling element.

An electric heating device includes a plurality of heating elements which are assembled to form a block. Such a heating element is formed from two metal plates, with the interposition of PTC elements. In order to increase the heat transfer, the metal plates are provided with corrugation ribs. Each heating element includes a pair of metal plates which are angled off essentially in the form of an L such that the angled-off sections are connected in a frictionally locking manner to each other. The angled-off sections are arranged at opposite ends of the heating elements and angled in opposite directions, the length of the angled-off sections of the metal plates being dimensioned such that angled-off sections of one pair of metal plates are in mutual abutment with angled-off sections of respectively adjacent pairs of metal plates.
