A device for determining a rotation rate is described, in which by means of digital evaluation circuits the output signals of a rotation rate sensor are evaluated. By identification of the transfer function from the electronically generated oscillation voltage that excites the oscillating body carrying the acceleration elements, to the output of the acceleration elements, or by identification of the transfer function from the electrically generated test voltage at the input of the acceleration elements to their output, the systematic errors of the rotation rate sensor are determined and taken into account in the digital sensor signal processing, with the aid of which the rotation rate is unequivocally determined.

Device for determining the rotational speed

The invention relates to an overvoltage protected high-voltage integrated circuit and a low-voltage integrated circuit with switching control for a hybrid circuit connected peripherally to a telephone exchange for serving telephone instruments. In particular it serves to provide battery feed, ringing voltage generation, and voice signal transmission. Essentially the circuit includes a transformer for transmission of high-frequency energy to the high-voltage circuit, which incorporates transfer of signal currents through four high-resistance, pair-organized symmetrical voltage dividers. The circuit further includes a ringing signal generating arrangement that is activated by means of a voltage increase applied to the high-voltage circuit supply voltage.

Telephone installation

A controlled current source apparatus with a voltage/current converter for deriving a signal current fed to a load, includes a first current source delivering a first d-c current super-imposed on the signal current, and a second current source connected parallel to the load for delivering a second d-c current substracted from the d-c current leading into the load.

Controlled current source apparatus for signals of either polarity

A device for stabilizing the voltage between two conductors of an a-c network comprises a thyristor switching circuit and a choke element connected in series between the conductors and in parallel to a control circuit. The control circuit activates the thyristor circuit to connect the two conductors upon detecting equality between a predetermined reference value and a sum of two areas under a half-wave portion of the voltage-time curve of the two conductors, the first area being measured by an integrator and extending from the beginning of the half-wave period to a current instant and the second area being calculated by analog arithmetic components and extending from the current instant to the end of the half-wave period.

Device for stabilizing the voltage of a single- or multi-phase a-c

A circuit for controlling the voltage of a network which supplies electrical power to a load having a rapidly varying impedance. The circuit contains a pair of controlled electric valves which are connected in parallel between two conductors of the network and poled for condition in opposite directions. A voltage transformer produces a signal corresponding to the network voltage, which signal is conducted to an integrator and subsequently compared to a preset mean value. The preset mean value corresponds to a desired amplitude at which the positive and negative half-wave cycles of the network voltage are desired to be maintained. In one embodiment, the controlled electric valves are caused to conduct current during respective half-waves of network voltage so as to maintain the amplitudes of the half-waves at the present mean value. Other features are described for compensating for long term drift of the network voltage and for controlling the controlled electric valves by means of logic circuitry.

Voltage compensation for an A-C network supplying a rapidly-changing load

Apparatus for use in balancing an asymmetrical load which is supplied from a three-phase network. The apparatus is provided with a self commutating converter for generating a three-phase output current system on its a-c side which is fed with phases reversed to the network. The d-c side of the converter, in turn, is fed from a d-c source with a d-c current corresponding to the maximum asymmetry power to be balanced. The apparatus is further provided with a control device which includes a first control means having a pulse program for firing and extinguishing the valves of the converter; and a second control means responsive to the a-c voltage and a-c current of the three-phase network for determining the phase and amplitude of the required countercurrent system and for controlling the pulse widths of the pulses of the program of the first control means to effect a change in the amplitude of the fundamental of the converter three phase output current system in dependence on the determined amplitude of said counter current system and for controlling the phase of the pulse program relative to the zero crossings of the a-c voltage of the network to effect a change in the phase of the fundamental of the three phase output current system in dependence on the determined phase of the countercurrent system.
