A cooling arrangement () is provided for cooling a gearbox () that has a housing () on which at least one temperature-critical component is mounted. The cooling arrangement has a gearbox-ventilating device () arranged fixedly on the body to adjoin the gearbox () and configured to supply the gearbox () with cooling air. The gearbox-ventilating device () has a first air duct () with an air inlet opening (), via which cooling air can flow into the first air duct (), and an air outlet opening () from which cooling air can flow out of the first air duct (). A cooling air-channeling means () is connected to the first air duct () and designed to guide the cooling air flowing out of the air outlet opening () and directly onto the temperature-critical component of the gearbox ().

The sill panel is of multi-part design and consists of a lower sill panel part facing the carriageway and composed of nonwoven fabric (LWRT) and of an upper adjoining sill panel part composed of plastic (PTT). The two sill panel parts are connected to each other by means of an edge-side overlap which is adhesively bonded or welded.

A sill panel made of plastic extends in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and is connected to the vehicle body. The sill panel is of an arched configuration and has an upper, upright fastening flange, which is connected to the vehicle body by fastening devices. Vertically oriented, upwardly open slots are provided in the fastening flange, between the fastening devices.

A trailer towing device can be swivelled from an operative position into an inoperative position and back. During an adjusting from the operative position into the inoperative position, a socket for an electrical plug device of a trailer is continuously taken along. A towing device has a ball neck equipped with a ball head that can be moved by a spindle adjusting element back and forth from an operative position into an inoperative position. The ball neck is arranged in a rotary block which is swivellably held in a carrier part. For supporting the ball neck in all possible loading directions, supporting surfaces, a torsion stop as well as a detent pawl are provided so that a movement of the coupling neck is avoided when forces act upon it, and a precise position is ensured in the operative position.

Towing device

A trailer coupling for motor vehicles able to be moved from a working position to a resting position and the reverse. To increase safety, a motion of the trailer coupling is allowed only if the velocity of the motor vehicle is &#x3c;=5 Km/h, if the rear window or tailgate is open and if no trailer is fastened on the coupling. The motion is stopped if the torque of the drive motor exceeds a specifiable reference value.

A hitching towing arrangement for a motor vehicle is connected with a rear-side cross member. The arrangement forms a bumper unit and is provided with a deformation element. The cross member is connected by way of holders with side members of the vehicle body. The holders can be fastened by way of expansion screws to the side members.

A device is used for holding and mounting a front/rear panel to a side component of a vehicle, for purposes of reinforcing and housing vehicle aggregates in the front/rear panel of a vehicle; in order to allow a simple mounting of the front panel to a side component. The panel is provided with a mounting profile with clamping brackets that can be attached to corresponding clamping elements of a guide rail in the side component.

A bumper for vehicles, particularly passenger cars, has a dimensionally stable support which is held in position on an adjacent vehicle body by holders. In order to reduce the expenditures of time and cost during the manufacturing of the dimensionally stable support and of the holders, the holders are integrally constructed in one piece with the dimensionally stable support.
