The invention relates to a twin relay with at least two drive mechanisms which are separate from each other. The drive mechanisms each act on designated contact springs and both act on a single contact assembly.

Twin relay

Relay with positively guided contact or contact sets, each contact being accommodated in a chamber and being at least partially separated from the adjacent contacts, and, furthermore, an actuator being provided for respectively opening and closing the contacts, the actuator being of multi-component design. The components of the actuator can be displaced with respect to one another here, the drive not acting on all the components of the actuator.

Relay with positively guided contact sets

A safety relay has a guided contact set and a monostable drive with a H-armature. The individual contacts of the set of contacts are located in separate chambers and are actuated by a common armature. In order to miniaturize the relay while having a low power consumption, a mechanically symmetrical H-armature with an asymmetrical magnetic effect is provided to ensure the monostable drive. The longitudinal axis of the H-armature is approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis of the driving coil and the axis of rotation of the H-armature is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the driving coil. The actuator is actuated by an actuating plate which prolongs the H-armature.

Security relay with guided switch stack and monostable drive

A relay with a safety spring set such that the spring contact sets are arranged in chambers, which are freely accessible from the outside via openings when the cover is removed so that the spring contact sets can be manipulated. To prevent broken pieces from ending up in the other regions of the relay in the event of breakage of the contact springs of the spring contact sets, the cover has inwardly directed projections which seal the openings of the chambers when the cover is in place.
