The invention relates to a lead-free piezoceramic material based on bismuth sodium titanate (BST) having the following parent composition: x(BiNa)TiO-yBaTiO-zSrTiOwhere x+y+z=1 and 0&#x3c;x&#x3c;1, 0&#x3c;y&#x3c;1, 0&#x2264;z&#x2264;0.07 or x(BiNa)TiO-yBaTiO-zCaTiOwhere x+y+z=1 and 0&#x3c;x&#x3c;1, 0&#x3c;y&#x3c;1, 0&#x3c;z&#x2264;0.05 or x(BiNa)TiO-y(BiK)TiO-zBaTiOwhere x+y+z=1 and 0&#x3c;x&#x3c;1, 0&#x3c;y&#x3c;1, 0&#x2264;z&#x3c;1, characterized by addition of a phosphorus-containing material in a quantity that gives a phosphorus concentration of from 100 to 2000 ppm in the piezoceramic material.

Lead-free piezoceramic material based on bismuth sodium titanate (BST)

The invention relates to a piezoceramic material with reduced lead content, based on potassium sodium niobate (PSN) and having a defined parent composition. According to the invention the manner of addition of a mixture of Pb, Nb and optionally Ag and optionally Mn gives a wide sintering range together with reproducible electrical and mechanical properties of the material.

An actuator device (AV) including a main body () with a base body () and a buildup body () a plurality of actuators which are formed of actuator bodies comprising a piezoelectric or electrostrictive material and actuation electrodes and a printed circuit board () which extends in the longitudinal direction (X) of the actuator device (AV) over at least sections of actuator connection coatings, wherein conductive paths thereof are in electrical contact with the actuator connection coatings and wherein in the connection area segment (S, S, S, S) of the respective recess (S, S, S, S) at least in sections a connection layer (V) made of a resin reinforcement material with bismaleimide is disposed such that the connection layer (V) at least in sections contacts side surfaces (AS, AS) which respectively delimit a connection area segment (S, S, S, S) and which are opposed to each other.

Actuator device

Actuator device has a main body with base and superstructure bodies, the device having a plurality of actuators formed from a piezoelectric or electrostrictive material and each extend from the base body and form the superstructure body. The actuators each have at least two inner actuating electrodes of which at least one first inner actuating electrode extends, in a positive depthwise direction from the front side up to a distance from the rear side, and of which at least one second inner actuating electrode extends in a negative depthwise direction from the rear side up to a distance from the front side. At least one first inner actuating electrode of each actuator is provided for electrical connection to a first connection pole of an actuating device, a rear-side layer which is formed from electrically conductive material arranged on the rear side of the actuator device.

An actuator body, including a plurality of piezoceramic layers, separated from each other by a positive or negative internal electrode in alternation, positive and negative collecting electrodes, which are arranged on two outer faces of the actuator body and are conductively connected to the associated positive or negative internal electrodes, wherein the actuator body of the multilayer actuator has at least one positive and one negative contacting electrode, by which the multilayer actuator is electrically contacted and is conductively connected to the associated positive or negative collecting electrode, and the contacting electrodes are arranged in areas of the actuator body that are provided with a base metallization. The areas of the actuator body with a base metallization are spaced apart from each other and distances from the internal electrodes, wherein the distances are not less than the thickness of the piezoceramic layers in the active area of the multilayer actuator.

Multilayer piezoelectric actuator

The invention relates to a device for the production of a haptic feedback from keyless input units such as touchscreens or keypads in mobile IT devices such as mobile telephones, PDAs, music or multimedia players, cameras, navigation devices, etc. The market demands a device which can produce a haptic signal for a touchscreen such that the display is movable as a whole essentially perpendicular to the housing surface at least in one direction. In order to resolve this object the invention provides for a device for the production of a haptic feedback from a keyless input unit, whereby the device has an elastic, essentially plate-shaped substrate, which at least comprises a first support location for fixing the substrate on a structure of the input device and at least a second support location for fixing the substrate on the input unit, and is formed to support the input unit movably with respect to the structure of the input device, whereby a piezoelectric element between the first and second support locations of the substrate is arranged in such a manner that with an electrical drive to the piezoelectric element one of the support locations is moved transverse to the plane of the plate-shaped substrate.

Device for producing a haptic feedback from a keyless input unit

The invention relates to a method for the production of a monolithic multilayer actuator, a corresponding monolithic multilayer actuator, as well as an external contact for a monolithic multilayer actuator. According to the invention specific microdisturbances are incorporated in the actuator structure along the longitudinal axis of the stack essentially parallel and spaced to the inner electrodes in the area of the at least two opposite outer surfaces to which the inner electrodes known per se are brought out, which at the earliest during polarisation of the actuator are subject to a pregiven, limited, stress-reducing growth into the interior and/or towards the outer electrode, wherein additionally the basic metallic coating and/or the external contact is formed elongation-resistant or elastic at least in the area of the microdisturbances.
