A method for controlling a gas turbine, wherein measurement signal values are measured at different times, namely at least a first time and a second time, wherein the first time lies before the second time and wherein attenuated signal values are generated from the measurement signal values by smoothing the measured measurement signal values by means of a attenuation factor, wherein a different attenuation factor is used depending on the difference of the measurement signal value at the second time and the attenuated signal value at the first time.

Method for controlling a gas turbine

A method for running up a stationary gas turbine is provided. The turbine has a combustion chamber, the burners of which have a pilot burner and a main burner and by which various types of fuel are introduced into the combustion chamber for burning. The method, carried out while a rotor of the gas turbine is accelerating from a standstill to a nominal speed, includes feeding fuel of a first type of fuel to the pilot burners and feeding fuel of the first type of fuel to the main burners. In order to provide a method in which a comparatively low supply pressure is required in the fuel supply system and in which combustion vibrations that put the machine at risk are avoided during the running-up process, it is proposed that fuel of a second type of fuel is fed to the burner before the nominal speed is reached.

A regulating device for regulating the course of a gas turbine plant has at least one sensor for sensing a measurement variable and for outputting a measurement signal which represents the measurement variable; at least one adjusting system for influencing air and/or fuel supply to a combustion chamber of the gas turbine plant on the basis of a correcting variable; and a regulator connected to the at least one sensor so as to receive the measurement variable and to the at least one adjusting system for outputting the correcting variable, the regulator being designed to determine the correcting variable on the basis of the measurement variable received and its deviation from a pilot variable. At least one sensor is designed to sense the variation in time of at least one burner or combustion chamber parameter as measurement variable.

A method for operating a burner including a burner outlet opening with at least two sectors, each sector is assigned at least one fuel nozzle, is provided. The method is characterized in that fuel is supplied separately to the fuel nozzles of different sectors. Also described is a burner which includes at least two sectors wherein each sector is assigned at least one fuel nozzle. The burner includes at least two separate fuel supply lines and a device for adjusting the fuel mass flow which flows through the respective fuel supply line. The fuel supply lines supply fuel to the fuel nozzles of different sectors. Also described is a gas turbine which is fitted with at least one burner.

A cooling circuit for removing waste heat from a cooling device of an electromechanical converter is provided. The cooling circuit includes a chilling medium, a cooler for extracting heat from the chilling medium, a return connecting the cooling device of the converter to the cooler and conducts warm chilling medium, a feed connecting the cooler to the cooling device of the converter and conducts cool chilling medium, and an absorption chiller for extracting heat from the chilling medium. The absorption chiller is driven by the heat of the warm chilling medium that is in the return.

The invention relates to a method for detecting fluctuating fuel properties during the operation of a power plant. According to the inventive method, the actual operating characteristics of the power plant are used to determine the efficiency of the power plant and a change in fuel properties is concluded from a temporal change in the efficiency so determined.

Method for determining fluctuating fuel properties during the operation of a power plant

A method of operating a burner, in particular, a burner of a gas turbine, and a burner configuration include supplying an adjustable burner with fuel through a supply line. The fuel quantity is set by an opening of a control element as a function of a selected output of the burner. A calorific value of the fuel is determined, and the degree of opening is calculated and directly set using the output and the calorific value, resulting in a variable output control that is operationally reliable with respect to perturbations. A controller is connected to the control element having a selectable opening for setting the fuel quantity. In the controller, the degree of opening can be determined as a function of the output, the type of the fuel, and a pressure loss in the fuel supply line, and a corresponding signal can be transmitted to the control element such that the degree of opening is set.
