A crane comprising a laterally projecting crane jib on which a hoisting device is arranged and which is connected to at least one carrier body, which, together with the crane jib, can travel along an upper guide rail and a lower guide rail by way of traveling gears, wherein in each case the upper and the lower guide rails, and correspondingly, the traveling gears, are arranged spaced vertically from one another. In order to provide a crane comprising a laterally projecting crane jib, in particular a bracket crane or a traveling crane, the manufacture, transport and installation of which are optimized, according to the invention the at least one carrier body is designed as one component and connecting surfaces are arranged on said carrier body, to which a respective traveling gear and the crane jib can be detachably fastened.

A load-receiving apparatus is provided in the form of a hook block of a lifting gear, and includes a hook having a shaft and a circumferential groove in which an annular retaining element engages. The annular retaining element is supported on a supporting surface of a suspension element of the load-receiving apparatus. The annular retaining element has the form of a sleeve, which expands starting from the shaft and continuing in the direction of the supporting surface. In order to create a secure load-receiving apparatus, the annular retaining element is designed in the form of a conical sleeve or a truncated cone, and has an exterior outer surface, an interior outer surface due to the sleeve's conical shape, an upper annular top surface, and a lower annular base surface.

A lifting apparatus includes two parallel longitudinal members interconnected by at least one connecting element. A lifting beam is movable by a drive mechanism along the longitudinal members and supports, directly or indirectly, a handling device. Extending parallel to and supporting the lifting beam is a guide rail, which is received in spaced-apart carriages, for displacement in longitudinal direction in a freely running manner, as the lifting beam is moved by the drive mechanism. The carriages are arranged in a space between the longitudinal members and secured to the connecting element, wherein the longitudinal members and the lifting beam are formed with longitudinal grooves for engagement of sliding blocks so that the connecting element, the drive mechanism and the carrying unit are securable to the longitudinal members in any desired longitudinal position, and the guide rail is securable to the lifting beam in any desired longitudinal position.

Lifting apparatus for implementing a rectilinear movement of a handling device

A torque support, especially for wheel blocks, is arranged between a gear unit housing with a drive shaft and a driven unit housing. The torque support includes a plate-shaped base body which is detachably fastened to the gear unit housing with fastening elements. The plate-shaped base plate has at least two fastening locations comprising through openings for fastening the torque support to the driven unit housing. To keep the shearing forces resulting from the torque support and acting on the gear shaft small while the torsional moment is simultaneously absorbed with low play and in such a way that load peaks are damped, a corresponding plastic ring body is inserted into each through-opening in a positive-locking engagement. A side of the plastic ring body facing the driven unit housing has an edge area which widens radially outward forms an elastic disk element arranged between the driven unit housing and the torque support.

Torque support

A securing ring, includes a body defining a ring opening and having a circumference of substantially circular configuration at formation of a slotted gap to define confronting ring ends. The body defines a ring plane and an axis of symmetry and has a radial width which continuously increases, at least in sections, from the ring ends onwards at both sides of the axis of symmetry. Each of the ring ends has a L-shaped configuration and is extended by a lug jutting out from the ring plane and formed with a throughbore. Both lugs of the ring ends are positioned on a same side of the ring plane, with the throughbores of the lugs extending in parallel relationship to one another and to the ring plane.

A running wheel block, including a housing having at least one connecting surface for connection to a supporting structure, an inwardly directed rotary bearing holding hub arranged in the housing, a rotary bearing mounted on the hub, and a running wheel mounted in the rotary bearing so that a section of its running surface projects from the housing toward at least one side. The housing is open on a side opposite to the holding hub. The running wheel encompasses the holding hub and is insertable onto or into the rotary bearing from the open side.

The invention is directed to a running wheel for traveling units which are movable on rails, especially for traveling cranes. The running wheel includes an outer running ring, a resilient damping hub inserted in central opening of the running ring. The hub transmits torque received from a drive shaft to the running ring. The resilient damping hub effectively intercepts occurring torque peaks forward of the gear unit and drive shaft, by elastically deforming while maintaining a connection at the central opening of the running ring without play.

A running wheel block, including a housing having at least one connecting surface for connection to a supporting framework, and further having two opposing, detachable side walls, two inwardly directed rotary bearing holding hubs, arranged in the housing, rotary bearings mounted in the hubs, and a running wheel mounted in the rotary bearings so that a section of its running surface projects from the housing toward at least one side. Each of the holding hubs is arranged on one of the two opposing side walls of the housing. The housing further includes at least one spacing holder arranged between the opposing side walls. The spacing holder forms a connecting surface. The detachable side wall has centering members that, when the side wall is attached to the housing, determine the position of the holding hubs relative to the running wheel axis.

A running wheel block, including a housing having at least one connecting surface for connection to a supporting structure, two inwardly directed rotary bearing holding hubs arranged in the housing, rotary bearings mounted on the hubs, a running wheel mounted in the rotary bearings so that a section of its running surface projects from the housing toward at least one side and a cover connected to the housing so as to close the housing. The holding hubs include a first holding hub that is arranged on the cover. The cover has centering members for fixing a position of the holding hub relative to an axis of the running wheel when the cover is closed.

The present invention relates to a wheel casing with a housing formed of two shells with bearings for a wheel. According to the invention, the shells (6, 7) of the housing (5) are injection molded parts, and they are connected to each other in a force-locked and/or a form-locked manner.

Guiding a robot in an array

A robot gantry has longitudinal beams supported by support elements. To fasten the longitudinal beams to the supports, the latter have brackets with binding post holes for binding screws. To make possible the adjustment of the brackets housing the beams, the walls of the supports have holes, which are large enough that the binding screws can move in them by the amount required for adjustment. To adjust the brackets, L-shaped adjusting devices are fastened to the supports by screws. The L-leg of the adjustment apparatus has in the power portion horizontal and vertical holes with nuts for set screws. In the upper portion of the L-leg the adjustment device has a vertical slot for a pendulum set screw which can move in the slot. The pendulum set screw is protected by a nut from unintentional falling out, and extends with its threaded portion into a threaded hole in the bracket.

A connection assembly for connecting guide rails to the flange of a load carrying member includes clamping elements and bolt members in-connection with the T-shaped groove of the flange of the load carrying member and the guide rails for securing the guide rails to the flange. The flange includes flange parts inwhich each further includes clamping surfaces separated by an indent which is not in abutment with the respective guide rails when the clamping surfaces are in engagement with the respective guide rail. The connection assembly further includes holding rails associating with the flange parts, the clamping elements and bolt members in a manner to sandwich the guide rails between the holding rails and the flange parts.
