Concepts and technologies of network service control for remote access to wireless radio networks are provided herein. In an embodiment, a client network can be provided by a network access point that can include a processor that is configured to detect a guest user equipment and determine whether the guest user equipment is a recognized device. In response to determining that the guest user equipment is not a recognized device, the processor can create an identity verification request message that seeks approval from a host device to allow the guest user equipment to access the client network. The processor can provide the identity verification request message to the host device and receive a trigger response message. The processor can create a network access package that provides the guest user equipment with access credentials to access the client network and provide the network access package to the guest user equipment.

Network service control for access to wireless radio networks

A method and system of measuring performance and capacity of a network includes monitoring network activity using an application programming interfaces (API) monitoring system with a web services definition language (WSDL) file and a probe. The WSDL file provides instructions to a probe control system in the API monitoring system and the probe control system provides regular expressions to the probe. Performance data are collected using the probe. The performance data includes a collection of performance information. Using the probe, performance data are transmitted between the network and the API monitoring system. The API monitoring system stores the performance data in a database of performance data monitored and analyzes the performance data to determine performance and capacity of the network. The API monitoring system reports information on performance and capacity of the network to a network operations center dashboard.

A system and method for teleconferencing between conferees connected through a connectionless network and conferees connected through a connection-oriented network having a bridge. A call server connects to a bridge hosting a teleconference among connection-oriented conferees and joins the teleconference. The connection-oriented signal received by the call server is converted into a connectionless signal and sent to authorized, authenticated conferees connected through the connectionless network. The call server receives a connectionless signal from a conferee through the connectionless network, converts the signal to a connection-oriented signal and sends the connection-oriented signal to the bridge. Connectionless signals are stored in a database to be analyzed or sent to other conferees, such as those who were unavailable to join the teleconference as it occurred. The call server provides multimedia interfaces to conferees by which the conferees can monitor and join an ongoing teleconference, access a stored teleconference, or configure a new teleconference. The call server can also bridge teleconferences hosted on two or more bridges, expanding the audience for a given teleconference beyond the capacity of a single bridge.

The server compares the user information with authentication information available to the server but not the client. A graphic program configuration system is described that allows a user to create complete computer programs. In particular, the present invention improves on the prior art by providing a system and process that permits a subprogram to have an arbitrary number of outlets that may be defined at program configuration time by stimulating the subprogram to create new outlets that facilitate connecting the subprogram to other subprograms. In particular embodiments of the invention the names for the new outlets may either a) be obtained by virtue of the attempted connection of a subprogram to other subprograms or b) be provided direct entry of the outlet name by a user of the program configuration system, e.g., by typing the outlet names on the keyboard. Additionally, in accordance with an aspect of the invention, outlets can be augmented to have one or more constraining parameters that can be used to ensure that only appropriate relationships are established by connections. Such constraining parameters include: a) number of connections allowed, b) types of connections allowed, c) destination object class, and d) destination object operations required. Thus, a non-programmer or a person with only rudimentary programming skills can configure a collection of one or more subprograms into a complete computer program.

In case of a disaster at one of a plurality of customer's locations, it is desirable to provide for a massive rerouting of telephone calls to that customer. A SafetyNet Service Reconfiguration (SSR) tool enables a network service provider to provide a recovery service for the event where a customer's business location becomes 'non-functional'. By using the SSR tool, the telephone network service provider can preplan how to reroute a customer's incoming calls to alternate business locations, or to the employees' homes. The preplanning includes storing the local central office recent change (RC) messages necessary to implement an SSR plan, in RC text files and in executable data files. The RC text files can be easily maintained, and new RC executable files generated, as the customer's recovery needs change. To invoke an SSR plan, the network service provider starts execution of the designated RC executable file, via a single SSR tool command. When the SSR plan is invoked, the data from the RC executable file is activated, thereby rerouting the traffic.
