A mounting device for mounting a necked container such as a glass baby food jar, to a board support, such as a perforated board support; the device comprising a generally resilient C-shaped base for receiving and holding the neck of the container for suspending of the container from the device and means for coupling the device to the board support. The container is adapted to be assembled to the device by forcing the neck of the container through the open portion of the C-shaped base, whereby the arms of the base are forced outwardly during the insertion and/or removal of the container from the mounting device. The device which is preferably molded from plastic, enables rapid assembly and disassembly of the container to and from mounted condition on the board support.

Readily separable jar mounting device

A solar engine including an air motor driven by a quantity of pressurized hot air from a solar heater vessel and including an air pump for pumping substantially an equal mass of cool air back into the solar heater. The driving action of the air motor and simultaneous pumping action of the pump is accomplished in one embodiment by means of a moving piston which separates the driving and pumping sides of the air motor enclosure, whereby substantially both displaced volumes are substantially equal. Air is used as both the heat transfer means and as the actual working fluid. The engine provides for an unlimited life for the solar collector, and an engine of relatively low friction and substantial simplicity.

Solar engine

Disclosed is a coin and currency changer utilizing a coin chute having two continuously intersecting arms wherein coins may be alternately stored. A plunger assembly is positioned at the bottom of the chute along the line of intersection of the two arms and is operative to dispense one coin at a time therefrom. The coin in the chute immediately above the dispensed coin is retained within the chute by a pinching action between the plunger assembly and the structure of the chute. A sensor is positioned in operative relation with the plunger assembly and senses the actual dispersal of the coins from the chute. Control circuitry counts the number of coins dispensed and is operative to inhibit functioning of the system if more than the desired number of coins is actually dispensed. There is further provided means for maintaining a proper number of coins within the chute by transferring the coins from a bulk hopper to the chute. Further, the combination of change dispensable by the changer is pre-programmable by a serviceman or alternately could be customer selected or controlled by data computed according to the requirements of any transaction which requires a flexible amount of change.
