The present invention relates to a stable, aqueous wrinkle controlling and, optionally, odor-absorbing, composition, preferably for use on fabric. The composition preferably comprises fabric lubricant, shape retention polymer, lithium salts, and/or plasticizers for wrinkle control and, optionally, from about 0.1% to about 20%, by weight of the composition, of solubilized, water-soluble, uncomplexed cyclodextrin. Optionally, the composition can contain low molecular weight polyols; metallic salts to help control odor; nonionic surfactants to improve performance and formulatability, a humectant, etc. The composition is essentially free of any material that would soil or stain fabric. The composition is preferably applied as small particle size droplets, especially from spray containers which preferably are in association with instructions for use, especially when the composition comprises only water and perfume.

Fabric wrinkle control composition and method

A novel reactive dye compound is disclosed. It comprises (a) at least one chromophore moiety; (b) at least one nitrogen-containing heterocycle; (c) a linking group to link each chromophore moiety to each nitrogen-containing heterocycle; characterised in that at least one nitrogen-containing heterocycle is substituted with at least one thio-derivative and at least one quaternized nitrogen derivative.

This invention relates to reactive dye compounds, and more especially to reactive dye compounds comprising a chromophore and a nitroen-containing heterocycle comprising at least one thio-substituent. The reactive dye compounds of the present are particularly suitable for dyeing hair.

Reactive Dye compound having formula (I) wherein: D is a chromophore group; L is a linking moiety; Q is a quaternized nitrogen derivative; X and Y are independently selected from chlorine, bromine, fluorine or hydrogen; A is selected from halogen, preferably chlorine or fluorine; provided that at least one of X and Y is fluorine; A is selected from halogen, preferably chlorine or fluorine; and salts and esters thereof. The reactive dye compounds of the invention have high Exhaustion Values, high Fixation Values, particularly on cellulosic substrates such as cotton, and show significant improvements in terms of reducing spend dyestuff in effluent, increasing dye affinity to the substrate, increasing the dye-substrate covalent bonding, increasing the ability to dye substrates at room temperature, decreasing the amount of dye that is removed during the post dyeing &ldquo;soaping off process&rdquo; and therefor simplying the post dyeing &ldquo;soaping off process&rdquo; traditionally associated with dyeing cotton with fiber reactive dyes and reduction of staining of adjacent white fabrics. In addition, the compounds prepared above provide more intense dyeings and require less levels of salt for dyeing cotton substrates.

Sunscreen compositions are disclosed which are resistant to rub-off and the concomitant loss of protection provided by the sunscreen.
