A circuit board coupon testing method and apparatus. A coupon tester uses a linear actuator to carry a test head and probe(s) for an LCR meter. The linear actuator accurately steps the probe(s) over a coupon of components arranged linearly adjacent an edge of the circuit board to measure the parameters of the component. The coupon tester can be integrated with an in-circuit tester to provide further functionality, with the coupon test being carried out simultaneously with a portion of the in-circuit test such as an unpowered portion of the in-circuit test.

Circuit board coupon tester

A testing system incorporating a modular primary frame having multiple mounting surfaces and mounted on a conventional probe card testing assembly is disclosed. At least one modular press assembly is attached to the primary frame. The press assembly is height adjustable relative the testing assembly and has a plurality of synchronized force-applying members. At least one conveyor rail pair may be attached to at least one primary frame mounting surface. The rail pair is configured to deliver a printed circuit board to the testing assembly and to withdraw a printed circuit board from the testing assembly. A modular interface assembly comprising a bar code reader, a board marker or other similar devices may be disposed within the primary frame and is height adjustable relative the testing assembly. A modular secondary frame attached to at least one primary frame mounting surface may house the interface.

Modular mechanical fixturing and automated handling of printed circuit assemblies on automated test equipment

A mechanical press for testing printed circuit boards in conjunction with a conventional probe card testing assembly is presented. A press assembly attached to a press mount mounted over the probe card testing assembly includes a movable frame including a plate that is height-adjustable relative the movable frame and a plurality of synchronized force-applying members that are actuatable to extend the plate downward a predetermined distance with equal downward pressure across the plate. The plate is height-adjustable within the movable frame via four elongated rotatable screws that protrude through the upper surface of the press mount in order to moveably support the press assembly. Each screw has a timing belt pulley for synchronous power transmission disposed above the stationary frame upper surface. A timing belt or similar continuous belt or chain engages each belt pulley, thereby synchronizing the rotation of the screws. A shuttle system including a drawer and a pair of rails may optionally be provided to allow automatic and convenient circuit board insertion into and removal from the testing assembly.

Adjustable fast press with PCA shuttle and modular expansion capabilities

A tap is established in a sewer main by drilling an aperture in the sewer main and locating a rubber cylinder into said aperture wherein the end of said rubber cylinder is provided with toroidal protuberances immediately adjacent the exterior wall and interior wall of the sewer main. The rubber cylinder is thicker in the region between the protuberances, and an interior branch pipe is driven into the rubber cylinder for forcing the cylinder outwardly against the interior edge of the aperture in the sewer main while substantially locking the aforementioned protuberances in position. A branch pipe extension is connected either to the rubber cylinder or to the interior branch pipe.

Sewer tapping apparatus

A drill apparatus for providing a drain hole in curbing comprises a core drill mounted for longitudinal movement along a horizontal post held between a drill frame and a hooking member positioned in hooking relation with the curb. The horizontal post is tightened in compression while a pair of chains extend between the hooking member and the drill frame for holding the frame in firm contact with the curbing.
