A hingeless ventilator comprises a frame defining two openings surrounded by a seating rim, which is surrounded by a door recess. A pair of upright sleeves is disposed between the openings, and each upright sleeve defines an exterior track surface. A door is disposed to face the outer surface of the frame and has a main body configured to be selectively positionable to cover and uncover both of the openings and defines a lip surrounding the periphery thereof and extending generally perpendicularly to the main body. Two door struts connected to the door extend through the frame openings and hold a handle that has rollers that are biased against the exterior track surfaces of the sleeves.

Two-way hingeless ventilator

A battery charger assembly includes an outer casing with a sleeve assembled therein having a cavity profiled to receive a battery alone, or a battery and its associated appliance. A cam-operated assembly includes a cam member which moves a gripper assembly into the cavity to grip the battery. In this manner, a battery and/or its appliance may be inserted into the charger, and used in automotive use without the battery and/or the appliance becoming discharged from the charger assembly.

Apparatus for retention of battery in charger

A threaded fastener includes an outer body defining an axis and an inner body at least partially positioned within the outer body. The inner body is movable along the axis relative to the outer body. A plurality of threaded segments is coupled to the outer body and radially supported by the inner body. The plurality of threaded segments defines a nominal diameter. At least one biasing member biases the plurality of threaded segments inward toward the axis. The plurality of threaded segments is movable inward toward the axis by the at least one biasing member when the inner body is moved axially from a first position to a second position so that the plurality of threaded segments define a reduced diameter that is smaller than the nominal diameter.

Fast-acting collapsible fastener

A threaded fastener includes an outer body defining a cavity and a central axis extending through the cavity, and a plurality of threaded segments positioned substantially within the cavity. The plurality of threaded segments is movable relative to the outer body generally toward and away from the central axis. The threaded fastener also includes a cap positioned at least partially within the cavity to secure the plurality of threaded segments within the cavity. The cap includes a plurality of projections engaging the plurality of threaded segments and the outer body to inhibit relative rotation between the plurality of threaded segments and the outer body. The plurality of projections is formed as a single piece with the cap. The threaded fastener further includes a snap ring removably coupled to the outer body to secure the cap within the cavity.

An LCD assembly is disclosed. The LCD assembly includes a frame housing an LCD material layered on an electroluminescent material layered on a circuit board. One side of the circuit board includes elastomeric connectors to connect to, respectively, the LCD material and the electroluminescent material on the other side of the circuit board, a third elastomeric connector attaches to the main circuit board of a consumer product.
