The present invention relates to a wrap around booster ( ), and more specifically, the present invention relates to a wrap around booster ( ) for use with a high temperature dishwashing machine ( ). The wrap around booster ( ) heats the water of the dishwashing machine ( ) from approximately 110-140&deg; F. to at least 150&deg; F. in the wash tank ( ) and at least 180&deg; F. in the rinse tank ( ). This is accomplished by keeping a relatively constant volume of water in the rinse tank ( ) containing the wrap around booster ( ), which maintains the rinse tank water at least 180&deg; F. The rinse tank water surrounds the wash tank ( ). The warmer water in the rinse tank ( ) surrounding the wash tank ( ) therefore heats the water contained in the wash tank ( ) through convection. Therefore, one heating system does the work of two heating systems. Because there is no heating system inside the wash tank ( ), the entire tank of water can be dumped and then the water is replenished with the water used during the rinse step.

Wrap around booster

A transmission assembly capable of driving a dishwasher conveyor at different speeds to accommodate different needs, without requiring a multiple speed motor. Moreover, speed adjustments can be made without stopping the conveyor and without any risk of damage to the motor. Adjustments are effected by varying the radial distance between a driven member and an axis about which the drive assembly pivots. A detent arrangement provides a positive indication that the speed is set at a particular setting corresponding to a particular radial distance.

Disclosed is a warewashing assembly comprising a batch-loading warewashing machine and a movable tray or cart capable of holding a rack in a position that departs form the horizontal outside of the warewashing machine for convenient operations; said tray or cart comprising a flat tray of a size complementary to said rack, wherein the flat tray comprises side and rear fences capable of holding the ware rack against horizontal motion and wherein the tray is attached to a support structure in such a way that it is supported at the desired angle .alpha. and can be inserted into the machine when quiescent; wherein the support structure is of a height approximately equal to that of the warewashing machine and comprises means to move horizontally in relation to the warewashing machine.

Removable warewashing apparatus

Household and institutional sinks are commonly used in cleaning regimens in which articles are contacted with aqueous cleaning media under conditions of agitation. Such agitation can be provided by directing the aqueous medium contained within the sink to a pump that returns the aqueous medium to the sink under agitating conditions such that the agitation can act to promote soil removal. The aqueous medium can be withdrawn from a waste line installed in a sink drain. The aqueous medium can then pass into a pump which can return the aqueous medium to the sink at a location in the sink causing the aqueous medium to agitate and circulate within the sink bowl. Preferably, valved waste line hardware can be installed in the drain such that when the waste line valve is closed, the aqueous medium is retained in the sink. The pump intake is placed in liquid communication with the aqueous cleaning medium upstream of the valve. The aqueous cleaning medium is drawn by the pump from the waste line and is then directed by the pump returning to an annular return collar formed on the waste line installed in the drain. The pumped aqueous medium is directed by the return collar into the bowl of the sink assembly. The return collar has a stator creating a horizontal cyclonic circulation pattern.
