A pre-processing and fulfillment system and method are described. In some implementations, the method may include receiving an order containing a retail component and a pharmacy component, processing the order for the pharmacy component and the retail component, and generating a tracking token identifying the order and authorizing a party to receive a component of the order. The method may include transmitting fulfillment instructions to a fulfillment system based on processed information for the order, and transmitting the tracking token to a computing device of the authorized party. Some implementations may also include receiving a signal indicating receipt of the tracking token and an authorized transfer of the component, and updating a status of the order based on the received signal.

Intelligent pre-processing and fulfillment of mixed orders

A mobile device and a server exchange information in response to the mobile device detecting a proximity beacon. Upon detecting the proximity beacon, the mobile device initiates a web service call to the server. A mobile device user will indicate a choice whether to opt-in upon registration. If the user has opted in, the server will retrieve additional information about the user including prescription information. The server will transmit prescription information and other marketing information to the mobile device. The server may be configured to receive additional information from the mobile device, for example, a request for a prescription to be refilled.

Techniques for in-store prescription notifications

An electronic image of a paper prescription is received; prescription information is extracted from the image, and a communication is sent to the prescribing physician for approval. If approval is received, delivery of the medication to the patient is approved.

A retail pharmacy sales system for identifying a customer and identifying which prescriptions the customer is authorized to pick up is disclosed. The system may include a retail pharmacy sales device in communication with a mobile device. The retail pharmacy sales device is configured to identify the customer, receive acknowledgement for the prescriptions, and process the payments for the prescriptions based on communication with the mobile device.

A system for navigating products and services presented via a computer interface. The system may include a three-dimensional isometric view of a virtual store that may be displayed on a computer touchscreen. The displayed virtual store may include at least one internal wall of the virtual store, a plurality of virtual rows of shelves, each shelf containing virtual products, and a plurality of icons that, when selected, allow entry into at least one sub-store.
