Analysis systems can include both a test and measurement tool for generating measurement data representative of at least one parameter of a device under test and an imaging tool for generating image data representative of a target scene. An electrical isolation mechanism can electrically isolate a user operating the analysis tool from the test and measurement circuit through the imaging tool. The electrical isolation mechanism can include an insulating coating surrounding a part of the imaging tool having an opening proximate the imaging tool so that electromagnetic radiation can enter through the opening and reach the imaging tool. The opening can be sized so that a standard finger cannot penetrate the opening to within a predetermined distance of the imaging tool. Additionally or alternatively, a window positioned over the opening can prevent access to the imaging tool via the opening.

A tester includes a main body and a removable probe. The main body includes a main body probe and a front panel including selectable options for selecting a tester function. The removable probe may be coupled to the main body via a cord. The removable probe is fixable to the main body via a latch assembly. The latch assembly including a socket disposed on one of the removable probe or the main body and a mating protrusion disposed at the other of the removable probe or the main body, the main body having a probe support ridge associated therewith and the removable probe having an alignment ridge associated therewith, the alignment ridge and the probe support ridge lying in a same plane when the mating protrusion is inserted into the socket.

A digital multimeter includes a display for displaying a measured parameter, a selector for selecting the measured parameter, at least one jack configured to receive a test lead plug, and a housing assembly including the display, the selector and the jack. The selector includes a push button, a rotary selector switch, a knob coupled to the rotary selector switch, and a cover molded over the knob. The cover includes a relatively soft material compared to the knob. The housing assembly includes a first and second housing portions coupled together, a gasket sealing the first and second housing portions, and a jacket overlying parts of the first and second housing portions and the gasket. The housing assembly defines an internal cavity and is configured to absorb impact energy in response to dropping the digital multimeter up to approximately one meter and protect against water and dust ingress into the cavity.
