The present disclosure relates to a lenticular display article, such as a container, and a method of making the article. The article includes a lenticular sidewall, which defines a cavity having a top end, and a bottom end, the sidewall having a seam; and an optional base attached to the bottom end of the sidewall. The method of making the article can includes forming a frustoconical sidewall having a seam joining the opposite ends and optionally affixing a base to the bottom end of a lenticular sidewall. Alternatively, the bottom end of the sidewall may be sealed to itself to form a baseless tube.

Lenticular container and method of making

Systems and methods of embossing flat pieces (such as thin cards and similar materials) that prevent the embossed pieces from sticking to each other during subsequent handling. In some embodiments, pieces are manufactured in rows and columns on a large sheet, with (typically) the distance between text embossed on adjacent rows and (particularly) the distance between texts embossed on cards from adjacent columns being constant. Cards that will be stacked immediately adjacent each other after the cards are cut from the large sheet have text embossed on them that varies, so that the cards cannot tightly nest against each other and stick together.

Embossing systems and methods

The present invention includes a process for making a magnetically readable card. The process includes providing a polymeric extrudable substrate material and one or more magnetic strips. The substrate is extruded in an extruder. The magnetic strips are aligned and coextruded with the polymeric substrate in the extruder to form a continuous length of magnetic strips and polymeric material.

The present invention includes an apparatus for making a magnetically readable card. The apparatus includes a mechanism for providing a polymeric extrudable substrate material and one or more magnetic strips. The substrate is extruded in an extruder. The apparatus also includes a mechanism wherein the magnetic strips are aligned and coextruded with the polymeric substrate in the extruder to form a continuous length of magnetic strips and polymeric material.

Apparatus for making a magnetically readable card

The present invention includes a method for rapidly producing encoded, ink-jet printed cards. The method includes providing an encodable and printable card and providing an electronic database with stored data. The method also includes encoding and printing the card by concurrently transferring electronically data from the database to an encoder and to a printer. The data printed on the card is verified for accuracy with a verification mechanism.

Process for making an encoded card

A security card and a method of manufacturing security cards are provided by the invention. The security card includes a peel away cover having a top film and a first transparent film adhered thereto, a card base having a substrate with a second transparent film adhered to the top surface of the substrate surface; and clean release adhesive releasably adhering the first transparent film of said peel away cover to the second transparent film of said card base.

Security card and method of manufacture

A card-carrying sheet having a removable card incorporated therein and having a substantially uniform thickness. The card-carrying sheet includes a carrier sheet having a window region and recessed region surrounding the window region, a removable card in the window region and adhesive tape holding the removable card in place. The card-carrying sheet is well suited for use in a laser printer.
