A display apparatus includes: a display panel; light sources configured to emit light; a plurality of board bars on which the light sources are mounted, the plurality of board bars being spaced apart from each other along a first direction and extending in a second direction; a bottom chassis; and a plurality of bar fixers configured to fix the plurality of board bars to the bottom chassis. Each of the plurality of board bars includes: a central extending portion extending in a center of each board bar in the second direction; and a coupling portion located on the central extending portion of each of the plurality of board bars and located on one side in the first direction with respect to one light source among the light sources mounted on each of the plurality of board bars. Each of the plurality of bar fixers are disposed on each coupling portion.

Display apparatus

A display apparatus includes a display panel, a plurality of light source substrates, a plurality of light sources mounted on the plurality of light source substrates and configured to emit light toward the display panel, a driving board configured to control operation of each of the plurality of light sources, a plurality of connectors electrically connected to the driving board by an electric wire and arranged on the plurality of light source substrates, and a bottom chassis including vertical borders extending and configured to support the plurality of light source substrates. Each of the plurality of light source substrates includes a substrate body, and a plurality of substrate bars horizontally extending from the substrate body. The substrate body of some of the plurality of light source substrates is farther from the vertical border of the bottom chassis in the horizontal direction than the plurality of substrate bars.

A backlight unit includes a printed circuit board; a light source disposed on the printed circuit board and configured to emit light towards an upper side of the backlight unit; a reflective lens disposed on an upper side of the light source; and a reflective tape attached to the printed circuit board so as to surround the light source. At least a part of the reflective tape has a color different from a color of the light emitted by the light source.

Backlight unit, method of manufacturing the same and display apparatus including the same

A direct type backlight device includes a lower chassis, a reflective sheet disposed on a bottom portion of the lower chassis, and a plurality of light emitting diode (LED) bars disposed on an upper surface of the reflective sheet. Each of the plurality of LED bars includes a bar-shaped printed circuit board disposed on the upper surface of the reflective sheet, a plurality of LEDs disposed on an upper surface of the printed circuit board, and a reflective member provided on the upper surface of the printed circuit board. A reflectance of the reflective member is at least 90% of a reflectance of the reflective sheet.

Direct type back light device and display apparatus having the same

A display apparatus includes a display panel, a light guide plate for guiding light to the display panel, a light source for irradiating the light guide plate with light, and a middle mold disposed between the display panel and the light guide plate and supporting an edge region of the light guide plate. The middle mold includes a groove formed on a surface adjacent to the light guide plate.
