An apparatus and method for controlling and/or minimizing the formation or accumulation of unwanted deposits on the inside of fluid flow paths by employing at various locations along the path an assembly of permanent magnets oriented such that the fluid flow is preferably from the North magnetic pole to the South magnetic pole. The apparatus including an upper portion and a lower portion with a cylindrical magnet disposed on the surface of the upper portion. The lower portion includes a safety shelf to prevent compression of the magnet by the upper portion and the lower portion.

Magnetic deposition prevention subassembly and method of use

A system is provided for drilling and/or servicing a well bore using continuous lengths of coiled tubing in which a turntable assembly rotates a coiled tubing reel assembly and a counter balance system about the well bore such that the coiled tubing is rotated while in the wellbore. A coiled tubing injector may be provided on a separate turntable assembly or on the same turntable assembly as the reel assembly. A swivel support assembly may be provided for managing operation lines associated with the system.

Method and apparatus for drilling and servicing subterranean wells with rotating coiled tubing

A handling assembly includes motor driver wheel assemblies that are supported on one or more platforms. The wheel assembles can be moved inwardly into engagement with tubing, cable or rods extending through the platforms so that the tubing, cable or rods can be raised or lowered in a controlled manner by frictional contact between the driven wheels and the tubing, cable or rods.

Magnetic assemblies for deposit prevention and methods of use

A coiled tubing injector head comprised of a plurality of endless chains, each of which are at least three links wide, that are positioned around a plurality of sprockets and/or idler rollers within the injector head. A plurality of gripper assemblies are positioned around the middle links of the endless chains. A bearing skate is positioned within the injector head, the bearing skate be comprised of a plurality of bearings in a staggered configuration, the bearings being adapted for rolling engagement with a portion of the gripper assemblies. An injector head is comprised of a plurality of halves, each of the halves being coupled to a positioning bar, the positioning bar having a plurality of openings formed therein, the openings adapted for use in varying the distance between the first and second halves.

Gripper block assembly for coiled tubing injector head

A coiled tubing injector head is comprised of a plurality of endless chains, each of which are at least three links wide, that are positioned around a plurality of sprockets and/or idler rollers within the injector head. A plurality of gripper assemblies are positioned around the middle links of the endless chains.
