A fuel cell vehicle provides improved space utilization and a desired intensity of voltage. The fuel cell vehicle includes a fuel cell, a junction box disposed on the fuel cell, and a power controller disposed between the fuel cell and the passenger compartment. The power controller boosts the output voltage of the fuel cell.

Fuel cell vehicle

A fuel cell includes a cell stack including a plurality of unit cells stacked in a first direction; a first end plate including a guide through-hole formed therein, the first end plate being disposed on one end of two ends of the cell stack; a second end plate including a guide support hole formed therein, the guide support hole overlapping the guide through-hole in the first direction, the second end plate being disposed on an opposite end of the two ends of the cell stack; and an enclosure surrounding a side portion between the two ends of the cell stack together with the first end plate and the second end plate, the enclosure being formed as a unitary structure. The enclosure includes a body surrounding the side portion of the cell stack and first and second ends coupled to the first end plate and the second end plate, respectively.

Fuel cell and method of manufacturing the same

A fuel cell vehicle includes a fuel cell frame including an outer frame and an inner frame disposed inside the outer frame, an upper structure disposed on the fuel cell frame, and a lower structure disposed under the fuel cell frame. The inner frame is formed in the shape of a partition dividing an inner space surrounded by the outer frame into a plurality of hollows.

A fuel cell is provided that includes a cell stack having a plurality of unit cells stacked in a first direction. An enclosure is disposed to surround the cell stack and includes an inlet that suctions external air and an outlet that discharges air that has been suctioned through the inlet and has circulated in the space between the cell stack and the enclosure. An insulating member is disposed to extend in the first direction in the space between an outer surface of the cell stack and an inner surface of the enclosure. The insulating member divides the space into a plurality of spaces and has an aperture formed therein to provide communication between the divided plurality of spaces, and an air intake member configured to suction air discharged from the outlet.

Fuel cell with corrosion resistance

A fuel cell includes a cell stack including a plurality of stacked unit cells and a heating unit configured to apply heat to the cell stack. The heating unit includes a heat-generating part and a heat-generating-part support part disposed on an end side of the cell stack. The heat-generating-part support part allows the heat-generating part to be fitted thereinto or to be drawn out therefrom.

A fuel cell having a structure for detachably mounting a cell-monitoring connector thereon includes separators arranged to be spaced apart from each other in a first direction, each of the separators including a receiving recess arranged in one side thereof, and hook-shaped gaskets respectively disposed on the separators and located around the receiving recess. The cell-monitoring connector includes a housing, at least a portion of the housing being received in a receiving space defined by the receiving recess, and connection terminals inserted into the housing to be connected to the separators. The housing includes a body inserted into the receiving space in a second direction that intersects the first direction, and a lever portion including a latching protrusion configured to be latched to or separated from a corresponding gasket among the hook-shaped gaskets by a pressing operation.

Cell-monitoring connector and fuel cell having structure for detachably mounting the cell-monitoring connector thereon

A laser welding apparatus for laser-welding a first welding target and a second welding target seated on the first welding target includes a first jig on which the first welding target is seated, a second jig configured to press the first welding target such that the first welding target is adhered to the first jig, a third jig configured to press the second welding target such that the second welding target is adhered to the first welding target, one or more connection members connecting the second jig and the third jig such that the second welding target is pressed by the second jig when the first welding target is pressed by the first jig, and a laser head configured to laser-weld the first welding target and the second welding target by irradiating a laser beam to a specific welding part of the second welding target.

Laser welding apparatus

An apparatus for preventing moisture condensation includes a fuel cell stack and an enclosure in which the fuel cell stack is disposed. A heater and a temperature sensor are provided in the enclosure. A controller is configured to control the heater to be turned on when an insulation resistance between the fuel cell stack and the enclosure is less than a preset resistance value. The controller controls the heater not to be turned on when a surface temperature of the enclosure measured by the temperature sensor exceeds a preset temperature.

Apparatus and method for preventing moisture condensation

An air shut-off valve apparatus for a fuel cell system and a method of controlling the same are provided. In particular, hydrogen injected into a fuel cell stack is discharged by being diluted with external air when starting the fuel cell system. The apparatus includes a valve body that has an inlet air path connected to a cathode of the fuel cell stack and through which air injected into the fuel cell stack flows, and an outlet air path through which air discharged from the fuel cell stack flows. A bypass body is provided and includes a bypass air path that connects the inlet air path and the outlet air path and a valve flap is disposed at the valve body and opens and closes the inlet and outlet air paths at a first side thereof, and the bypass air path at a second side thereof.

Air shut-off valve apparatus for fuel cell system and method of controlling same

A manifold block mounted to a fuel cell stack for supplying and distributing air and hydrogen to the stack, the manifold block comprises: a main body including a hydrogen inlet, a hydrogen outlet, an air inlet and an air outlet; a hydrogen outlet cover welded to an outer surface of the main body and including a condensation chamber connected to the hydrogen outlet; an air inlet cover welded to an inner surface of the main body and including an air inflow portion connected to the air inlet; and an air outlet cover welded to the inner surface of the main body and including an air outflow portion connected to the air outlet.

Manifold block of fuel cell stack and method of manufacturing the same

An air processing system of a fuel cell vehicle mounted with an integrated valve includes: the integrated valve attached to an air inlet and an air outlet formed integrally with a fuel cell stack and adjusting amounts of air introduced into and discharged from the fuel cell stack. The integrated valve is positioned at the shortest distance from the fuel cell stack, such that an amount of remaining oxygen that is to be consumed at the time of stopping start of a fuel cell vehicle is minimized. Therefore, corrosion of cathode carbon is decreased as compared with the related art, such that durability of the fuel cell vehicle is improved.

Air processing system of fuel cell vehicle mounted with integrated valve

A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell stack including an air electrode and a fuel electrode, a stack housing having a hollow therein to accommodate the fuel cell stack in the hollow, an air compressor configured to pump air to supply the air to the air electrode, a ventilation pipe connecting an entrance of the air compressor and the hollow, and at least one vent hole provided on an outer wall of the stack housing such that the hollow and an outside of the stack housing communicate with each other. An interior of the stack housing is ventilated by lowering of a pressure at the entrance of the air compressor, which is generated as the air compressor is operated, while air outside the stack housing is suctioned into the entrance of the air compressor after passing through the vent hole, the hollow, and the ventilation pipe.

A bus plate unit is provided. The bus plate unit electrically connects a unit stack for a fuel cell having a (+) and a (&#x2212;) stack terminal at both sides. The unit includes a (+) bus plate having a first end portion bent toward a first side surface of the unit stack and electrically coupled to a (+) stack terminal of the unit stack. A second end portion has a (+) bus terminal and abuts an upper first side of the unit stack. A (&#x2212;) bus plate has a first end portion bent toward a second side surface of the unit stack and electrically coupled to the (&#x2212;) stack terminal of the unit stack. A second end portion provides a (&#x2212;) bus terminal and is proximate to the upper second side of the unit stack. An insulating layer encloses a surface of the (+) bus plate and the (&#x2212;) bus plate.

A recycling system in which anode off gas of a fuel cell is recycled to a stack includes a purge flow path purging the anode off gas passing through the stack, and a sprayer spraying pure gas supplied from a fuel tank to the stack. The sprayer is disposed on a path where the anode off gas passing through the stack is discharged, the purge flow path is spaced a certain distance from the sprayer, and the anode off gas passing through the stack is mixed with the pure gas by suction force of the sprayer to be introduced to the stack, thereby being recycled.

A fuel cell stack enclosure is provided that includes side covers configured to be joined with each of end of a stack module respectively. A lower cover is also configured to be provided under the stack module and formed to partially cover a lower portion and a first side portion of an outer surface of the side cove. An upper cover may be provided over the stack module, and be formed to partially cover an upper portion and a second side portion of the outer surface of the side cover to enclose the stack module along with the lower cover while joining with the side covers.
