A mobile terminal is provided that includes a first camera to obtain a first image of an object, and a second camera to obtain a second image of an object, the second camera being separated from the first camera by a distance d. The mobile terminal also includes a controller to determine the distance d between the first camera and the second camera when the first camera obtains the first image of the object at a same time that the second camera obtains the second image. Still further, the mobile terminal includes a varying device to allow the distance d between the first camera and the second camera to vary, and a display to display a combination of the first image and the second image to allow a perceived three-dimensional (3D) image of the object.

And, the present invention is able to change a display direction of an image displayed on a display unit of the mobile terminal in correspondence with the changed photographing or projecting angle to correspond to the changed photographing or projecting angle.

The camera is configured to receive an input image of the image displayed on the external screen. The input image includes a pointer located over the image and a shadow of the pointer. The controller is configured to obtain a distance between the pointer and the shadow of the pointer from the input image, to recognize a touch by the pointer to a touch point in the displayed image according to the obtained distance, to project through the projector module a pointer cursor at the touch point, and to perform an operation corresponding to the recognized touch point.
