The present invention relates to a heat exchanger and, more specifically, to a heat exchanger, which has a manifold coupled to a header tank, allowing easy attachment between a manifold and a header tank as well as avoidance of interference between the manifold and a support by forming a baffle-shaped fixed baffle on one length direction of the header tank to which the manifold is inserted and attached.

Provided is an evaporator including a header in which a depressed portion is formed by concavely depressing downwards a transverse central portion in a longitudinal direction from an upper surface, the portion in which the depressed portion is formed protrudes downwards to form a pair of partitions spaced apart from each other, and a communication hole is formed in a penetrating manner in a transverse direction in each of the pair of partitions; a tank in which a transverse central portion is coupled to a lower end of the partition of the header and both sides in the transverse direction are coupled to the header; and an insert plate inserted into the depressed portion of the header such that both surfaces are tightly attached to the pair of partitions, and having a through hole provided at a position corresponding to the communication holes provided in the pair of partitions.

Evaporator

Provided is a cold-storage heat exchanger. The cold-storage heat exchanger includes a pair of header tanks, and tubes which are arranged in three rows with respect to the direction of the flow of air and connected at opposite sides thereof to the header tanks. A cold-storage medium is stored in the tubes that are disposed in a middle row, and refrigerant circulates through the tubes that are disposed in front and rear rows. Therefore, the cold-storage medium can effectively store cold-energy transferred from the refrigerant. When the engine of a vehicle is stopping, the cold-storage heat exchanger can discharge the cold-energy that has been stored into the passenger compartment of the vehicle, thus preventing the temperature in the passenger compartment from rapidly increasing, thereby creating pleasant air-conditioned conditions for a user, and minimizing the energy and time required to re-cool the passenger compartment.

The present invention relates to an evaporator () and, more specifically, to an evaporator (), in which refrigerant is uniformly distributed to each area through 8-pass flow from a first area (A) to an eighth area (A) so as to reduce temperature variation and maximize the heat exchange efficiency with respect to outdoor air, and air is discharged to the left and right sides in a vehicle room with uniform temperature distribution so as to maintain the comfort of passengers.

Provided is an evaporator including a flow part having a refrigerant flow therein, separately from a first compartment and a second compartment to improve a refrigerant channel structure, in a double evaporator in which a refrigerant flows in a first column and a second column, respectively, thereby reducing the number of four inlets and outlets that is disposed in the first column and the second column, respectively.
