An access service is positioned between a set of container groups and a SQL database service. Upon receipt, at the access service, of a REST request from any container group indicating that a SQL transaction should be started, an entry is created in a staging database, separate from the SQL database service, to track the SQL transaction. Multiple connections are allowed to be established from the container groups to the access service over which other REST requests from any container group are sent. The other REST requests include details of SQL operations to be performed as part of the SQL transaction. The details are cached in the staging database. Upon receiving a REST request from any container group indicating that the SQL transaction should be committed, a single connection is established between the access service and SQL database service to commit the transaction, including the details, as an atomic transaction.

Supporting database transactions in a distributed computing environment

Systems, methods, and apparatus for authenticating and authorizing clients. A client certificate is used to authenticate and authorize a client (or user). When the client certificate is received, the certificate is authenticated. If the certificate is valid, a username included in the certificate is used to authorize the client. This may be done based on privileges or permissions associated with the user name. Once the client or user is authenticated and authorized, operations requested by the client can be performed as long as permitted by the privileges or permissions.

A method for providing, based on an emulation schedule, a reset message to multiple circuits is provided. The reset message associates a reset signal with a selected clock cycle for each circuit, in the emulation schedule. The method includes determining a mask for each of the circuits based on the emulation schedule, providing a clock signal to the circuits, the clock signal comprising the selected clock cycle for each circuit, and tuning the reset signal relative to the clock signal based on a center of the selected clock cycle for each circuit. The method also includes providing the reset signal to the circuits and asserting the reset signal in the circuits based on the mask. A system and a non-transitory, machine-readable medium storing instructions to perform the above method are also provided.

Synchronized reset for a circuit emulator

A method includes programming an FPGA based controller of a master blade with a power scheme. The master blade receives a first power management signal from the master blade and slave blades. The master blade transmits a second power management signal to itself and to the slave blades responsive to the first power management signal. The master blade receives a third power management signal from itself and the slave blades. The power scheme controls an order and delay in which the second power management signal is transmitted to the first master blade and the slave blades. The power scheme controls an order and delay in which the third power management signal is received from the master blade and the slave blades. The system can be expanded by connecting the master blades to a grand master blade and multiple grand master blades to a great grand master blade.

One embodiment is related to a method for testing representational state transfer (REST) application program interfaces (APIs), comprising: parsing service specification files; prompting, based on the service specification files, a user to select a resource to be tested and to provide relevant request payload field inputs; receiving resource selection and request payload field inputs from the user; converting the request payload field inputs into JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) and/or Extended Markup Language (XML) data; submitting the JSON and/or XML data to a web services host with a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) REST request; receiving a response from the web services host in a form of JSON and/or XML data; and presenting the response to the user.
