Disclosed are various embodiments for an apparatus that comprises a water closet assembly having a cylindrical body and a water closet flange. The apparatus also includes an annular shear wall that extends from the water closet assembly in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the cylindrical body. The water closet assembly can also include an annular recess. In addition, the apparatus has a wall of the annular recess that includes an outer surface of the annular shear wall and a removable cap extending from the annular shear wall.

Disclosed are various embodiments for an insert apparatus for a water closet flange. The insert apparatus has an elevated arcuate portion that extends from a first end to a second end, the elevated portion comprising an arcuate keyhole aperture through the insert apparatus, the arcuate keyhole aperture having an eyelet end and a narrowed length; a raised edge positioned along at least a portion of a perimeter of the narrowed length of the arcuate keyhole aperture; a first recessed portion that extends away from the first end of the elevated arcuate portion and a second recessed step that extends away from the second end of the elevated portion; a first clip integral with the insert apparatus extends substantially perpendicular to a plane associated with the arcuate keyhole aperture; and a second clip integral with the insert apparatus extends substantially perpendicular to the plane associated with the arcuate keyhole aperture.

An in-line water hammer arrester comprises a housing connectable at each end to a piping system, a fluid channel disposed within the housing to permit fluid to flow from the piping system through the housing and back into the piping system, a piston and a pressurized chamber. When a pressure spike occurs, the piston is pushed against the pressurized chamber allowing an expanded area for water flow until the pressure spike is dissipated and the piston returns to its resting position. When used with flexible hoses and tubing typically found with household appliance water supply lines, the in-line arrester is easily installed by a crimping or clamping type connector and takes up little space.

In-line water hammer arrester

An outlet box housing a stop valve that is connected to a water supply line of a building. The outlet box enables a user to control the internally housed stop valve by axial movement of a handle assembly linked to a handle on the valve. The outlet box has a faceplate with at least one aperture through which the handle assembly and water outlet line can pass. Valve inlet shanks (or adaptors) connect the stop valve to the water supply line and allow for quick and easy replacement of the stop valve.

A pipe connection member for connecting a pipe to a pair of parallel brackets includes a pair of clamping members. Each clamping member has a pipe receiving opening extending therethrough. The inner sides of the clamping members cooperate to form a pair of parallel channels sized to receive the brackets. At least one fastener interconnects the clamping members for drawing them toward one another and against the brackets. One of the clamping members further includes a collet having integrally formed fingers extending outwardly around its pipe receiving opening. The other clamping member includes a countersink sized and positioned to receive the fingers such that as the clamping members are drawn toward one another the fingers are compressed against a pipe extending through the pipe receiving openings to fasten the pipe to the pipe connection member.

A pipe hanger system includes a pair of brackets and a pipe connection member selectively slidable along the brackets. The brackets each preferably include an elongate leg and a foot extending outwardly from the leg at a first end thereof. The leg of each bracket is preferably longer than the distance between the building members. The feet of the brackets are first fastened to an inside surface of the first building member. The pipe connection member can then be slid into the desired position and fastened in place. The legs of the brackets are then bent outwardly and secured to the inside surface of the second building member.

A pressure test cap includes a mounting collar with an outer rib to limit depth of insertion of the cap into a pipe. A closure disc which seals the mounting collar is connected to the collar through an inner rim by a weakened ring. An outer rim section registers with the inner rim so that impacts to the outer rim are transferred to the weakened ring to separate the disc from the collar. The closure disc includes a centrally positioned nipple for connection of a conduit of a pressurized test fluid source. The nipple is closed by a break-away nipple plug. The nipple plug has a centrally located indentation for piercing to bleed trapped air from the system and resealing by a screw.
