In embodiments of systems and methods for managing an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) identity, a processor of a network computing device may generate an anonymity token that is associated with a digital certificate of a UAV, provide the anonymity token to the UAV for use in operations, receive a request to authenticate the UAV, wherein the request includes the anonymity token, determine whether the anonymity token included in the request is associated with the digital certificate, and send an indication that the UAV is authenticated responsive to the request in response to determining that the anonymity token included in the request is associated with the digital certificate.

Managing an unmanned aerial vehicle identity

Methods, systems, and devices for road usage charging (RUC) are described. RUC computation may be performed at a vehicle using a vehicle computing device (VCD) that is trusted by a service provider, charger, or both. The VCD may be trusted to collect high accuracy, high resolution time and location data for RUC, and also compute for itself what the RUC charge is according to one or more applicable charge policies that are provided to the VCD. Anonymity related to specific vehicle and location information may be provided by encrypting portions of RUC data that are decryptable by different entities with reduced likelihood of revealing specific vehicle, location, and time information.

Methods and systems for communication vehicle-to-everything (V2X) information

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may receive a broadcast remote identification (BRID) message from a unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), where the BRID message may include an identity of the UAV. The wireless device may identify UAV information associated with the UAV based on the UAV ID. In some cases, the wireless device may be configured with information that enables the identification of the UAV information. In other cases, the wireless device may request the UAV information from a network entity, such as a UAV flight management system (UFMS), which provides the requested UAV information. In some examples, the UFMS may request the UAV information from an unmanned aerial system (UAS) service supplier (USS) based on the BRID information. Upon identifying the UAV information, the wireless device may broadcast the UAV information to manned aerial vehicles, thereby indicating a presence of the UAV.

Techniques for broadcasting flight information for unmanned aerial vehicles

A flight processor that calculates a 4-dimensional trajectory having a sequence of two or more position, time and cost (x, y, z, t, c) tuples that minimize a defined cost. Some embodiments generate cost-optimized trajectories with simple or complex constraints and bounds such as fixed AGL altitude; minimum AGL altitude; maximum AGL altitude; minimum MSL; maximum MSL; avoidance of restricted airspace; adherence to non-restricted airspace such as easements; adherence to ground-based guideways, if applicable; and the constraint to maintain adequate radio frequency signal-to-noise needed for communications to the ground station or backhaul systems. Constraint-enabled minimization of trajectory cost may leverage the aircraft's energy model; current atmospheric data (most notably wind vector data along the trajectory path); continuous-time and/or event-based risk models and fault trees; blacklisted and white-listed geo-fence boundaries; defined easements; and known or estimated RF signal-to-noise (SNR) minimum values needed for one or two-way communications.
