Provided is a display device including a display module having a first non-folding region, a second non-folding region, and a folding region disposed between the first non-folding region and the second non-folding region, and a plate disposed below the display module, and having a folding part overlapping the folding region and to be folded with respect to a folding axis extending in a first direction and first and second support parts spaced apart from each other with the folding part disposed therebetween. The folding part includes a first curved portion and second curved portions spaced apart from the first curved portion and disposed between the first curved portion and the first support part and between the first curved portion and the second support part, and the first curved portion has openings passing therethrough and the second curved portions each have at least first groove by being partially recessed.

Display device

A display module includes a display panel for displaying an image, and a protective film adhered to a back surface of the display panel. The protective film includes a compensation layer being in contact with the back surface of the display panel, a first release layer disposed under the compensation layer, a cushion layer disposed under the first release layer, and a second release layer disposed under the cushion layer. An adhesive strength of the first release layer is less than an adhesive strength of the second release layer.

A display device includes a display panel, a module frame having first and second contact pins, and a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) having first and second pads connectable with the first and second contact pins of the module frame, respectively, in a contacting state and disconnectable therewith in a non-contacting state. The first and second contact pins are electrically connected to each other. The PCB includes a circuit block in a non-operational state when the first and second pads are in the non-contacting state with the first and second contact pins of the module frame, respectively.
