An apparatus includes a first enclosure configured to be mounted on a first wall of a bus duct and housing at least one circuit protective device and a connector assembly configured to engage an outlet of the bus duct of the first wall of the bus duct. The apparatus further includes a second unit including a second enclosure mounted on the first enclosure and housing at least one metering device and wiring passing between the first and second enclosures.

Bus plug apparatus using multiple interconnected enclosures

A busway section with an electrically conductive housing is described. The busway section includes a lid connected with the housing through a hinging mechanism. Internal slots are also present, along which bus bars can be located. Possible applications of the busway section are feeder sections and plug-in sections.

Hinged busway

A support assembly is provided for supporting an electrical enclosure with respect to an electrical busway and with respect to a support structure, such as a wall, which is disposed proximate to the electrical busway. The support assembly includes at least one mounting assembly having a plurality of mounting elements. A first one of the mounting elements is coupled to the electrical enclosure. A second different one of the mounting elements is coupled to the support structure. A number of coupling assemblies interconnect the mounting elements. The first one of the mounting elements is movable with respect to the second different one of the mounting elements, in order to enable the electrical enclosure to move with the electrical busway and with respect to the support structure.

Electrical enclosure and support assembly therefor

A coupling assembly is provided for an electrical busway having a first section and a second section. The coupling assembly includes at least one housing having first and second ends. A plurality of electrical conductors extend through such housing and electrically connect the first and second sections of the electrical busway. A plurality of electrical insulators surround at least some of the electrical conductors. A first coupling member couples the first end of the at least one housing to the first section of the electrical busway, and a second coupling member couples the second end of such housing to the second section of the electrical busway. The at least one housing and the electrical conductors extending therethrough are flexible, and the housing is electrically grounded. The coupling assembly electrically connects the first and second sections of the electrical busway, without a number of separate termination boxes.

Electrical busway and coupling assembly therefor

A busway fitting wherein the switch and/or fuse are disposed in a horizontal orientation. As the switch assembly and/or fuse are disposed in a horizontal orientation, the buses coupled to the switch assembly and/or fuse also extend horizontally. As such, the buses coupled to the switch assembly and/or fuse occupy a reduced amount of space. In this configuration, the transition buses may extend in a generally horizontal direction and, as such, the size of the busway fitting may be reduced.

A busway fitting bus assembly for a busway fitting, wherein the busway fitting has a housing assembly defining an enclosed space, the housing assembly having a top end, a bottom end, and a sidewall, the sidewall having a side opening, at least one tap bus extending between the side opening and the enclosed space. The busway fitting bus assembly includes a plurality of elongated, main bus members, the main bus members structured to extend the length between the busway fitting housing assembly bottom end and the busway fitting housing assembly top end, and a support assembly having an extruded body structured to enclose and support the plurality of main bus members.
