A utility land vehicle is provided having a cargo compartment that includes a retention system. One embodiment of the retention system includes latch and receiver assemblies. The latch assembly includes first and second latches. The first and second latches are spaced apart from each other. A tie attached to each of the first and second latches actuates to cause both first and second latches to release. The receiver assemblies comprise first and second receivers. Each of the first and second receivers includes a body and a slot formed in the body. Each of the slots formed in each body of each of the first and second receivers includes an opening wherein the opening of the slot formed in the body of the first receiver faces the first latch, and the opening of the slot formed in the body of the second receiver faces the second latch.

Multi-application vehicular retention system

An illustrative embodiment of a cargo vehicle is provided. A bulkhead is located on the cargo vehicle. The bulkhead includes an opening. A bulkhead door is located at the bulkhead. The bulkhead door is movable between open and closed positions with respect to the opening. A bulkhead door bearing slide assembly is located at a portion of the bulkhead door and is movable with the bulkhead door between the open and closed positions of the bulkhead door. At least one pin is attached to the bulkhead door bearing slide assembly and is disposed through at least one opening of at least a portion of the bulkhead door. The at least one pin is movable within the at least one opening of the at least the portion of the bulkhead door to movably couple to the bulkhead door.

Bulkhead door bearing assembly

An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a delivery vehicle having a driver compartment and a cargo compartment. The cargo compartment is located adjacent the driver compartment. An at least one riser extends along at least a portion of the cargo compartment. The at least one riser includes a plurality of holes disposed therein. Each of the plurality of holes disposed in the at least one riser are spaced apart from each other a predetermined distance. A flooring assembly is located in the cargo compartment and supported by the at least one riser. The flooring assembly includes: at least a plurality of floor planks; each floor plank of the at least the plurality of floor planks has a longitudinal extent, a width transverse to the longitudinal extent, a longitudinally extending tongue located at a first end of the width, and a longitudinally extending groove located at a second end of the width opposite the first end of the width; wherein the each floor plank of the at least the plurality of floor planks is fastened to one of the plurality of holes disposed in the at least one riser.

Cargo vehicle automation and construction features

A vehicle is provided which has a rack assembly located in the vehicle. The rack includes a rail, a shelf movable along the rail between extended and retracted positions, and a track located adjacent the rail. The track includes a plurality of stop positions, each located at periodically spaced apart locations along the track. The shelf is selectively securable at a plurality of intermediate positions between the extended and retracted positions. The periodically spaced apart locations of the plurality of stop positions along the track are the intermediate positions that the shelf is selectively securable at. The shelf includes a stop member selectively engageable with the each stop position of the plurality of stop positions. When the stop member engages one stop position of the plurality of stop positions, the shelf is secured at one intermediate position of the plurality of intermediate positions between the extended and retracted positions.
