A system for installing drain pipes and water supply lines in relation to the drain pipes is disclosed. The system includes a bracket for attachment to the drain pipe with support arms to hold water supply lines at desired locations in relation to the drain pipe. The bracket may comprise a collar for attachment to the drain pipe with indexing protrusions or shoulders to orient the bracket with respect to the drain pipe, and support arms extending outwardly from the collar to support the supply lines. The system may also include a bracket for securing the drain pipe in relation to the structure.

Plumbing support system

A housing is attached to the lower end of the long item being transported. This housing allows the long item to be pulled by a person or machine without damage to the lower, trailing end of the item at which the housing is attached. In one embodiment, the housing is equipped with a wheel or wheels so that it may roll within minimal frictional resistance while the long item is being transported. In a second embodiment, the housing is shaped like a ski, or equipped with a ski or skis so that it may slide easily over surfaces that a wheel cannot roll over with minimal frictional resistance. In a third embodiment, both the ski shape, and the wheeled design are combined to create a device that can easily traverse any surface.

Aid for transporting long things

A fluidized bead bed having a scale integrated into the frame of the bed for providing a continuous readout of the weight of a patient supported on the upper surface of the bed. The bed includes a fluidized bead bed support mounted atop a frame such that a torque, corresponding to the supported, load is transmitted to the beam arms cantilevered from each end of the frame and extending to the longitudinal median of the bed along one side thereof. Springs oppose the torque and LVDT's are provided at the distal ends of the arms to produce an electrical signal with pulses of an amplitude related to the weight of the patient on the bed. The distal ends of both beam arms are protected and confined in their movements by a lower guard in the form of a single U-shaped channel, and the springs are mounted to the frame by means of upstanding supports on the top surface thereof. A control panel incorporates a signal processor for providing an accurate but readable output based on the LVDT signals. The processor includes a synchronous detector, an analog low-pass filter, an A/D converter, and a digital filter. The digital filter effectuates a highly weighted average characterized by a filter coefficient which is ordinarilly 128 but may be automatically or selectively decreased in order to quicken an accurate readout following a rapid weight change.
