The one or more reactive components delivered to the wellbore are configured to enable one or more chemical reactions to occur. The one or more chemical reactions are carried out until a threshold volume of the one or more reactive components is delivered to the wellbore.

Systems and methods of initiating energetic reactions for reservoir stimulation

Various cables for cable deployed electric submersible pumping systems and methods of manufacturing such cables are provided. The cable includes a power cable core and coiled tubing formed around the power cable core. The power cable core includes one or more conductors, insulation surrounding each conductor, and an elastomeric jacket extruded around the insulated conductors. Various mechanisms, systems, and methods are described to anchor the power cable core in the coiled tubing and to transfer weight from the power cable core to the coiled tubing.

Cables for cable deployed electric submersible pumps

A laser cutting apparatus conveyable within a casing lining at least a portion of a wellbore that extends into a subterranean formation. The laser cutting apparatus includes a housing, a deflector, a motor, a sensor, and a processing device. The deflector rotates relative to the housing to direct a laser beam to form a radial slot extending through the casing and into the subterranean formation. The motor rotates the deflector. The sensor generates information related to depth of the radial slot in real-time as the radial slot is formed by the laser beam. The processing device receives the information generated by the sensor and causes the motor to rotate the deflector based on the received information.

A downhole tool for conveyance within a wellbore extending into a subterranean formation. The downhole tool includes a sealing material and a laser apparatus, and is operable to create and fill a void with the sealing material to form a plug during a plug and abandonment operation.

A downhole tool for conveyance within a tubular secured in a wellbore extending into a subterranean formation. The downhole tool includes a sealing material and a laser apparatus operable to cut a slot in the tubular. The downhole tool is operable to provide melted sealing material within the slot.

A method for determining a flow distribution in a formation having a wellbore formed therein comprises the steps of positioning a bottomhole assembly in a wellbore, the assembly including an injection port for dispensing a fluid, a first sensor disposed upwell from the injection port, and a second sensor disposed downwell from the injection port, wherein each of the sensors generates a feedback signal representing a flow rate of the fluid in a portion of the wellbore, determining an approximate depth of a portion of the bottomhole assembly in the wellbore, generating a data model based upon an instruction set, the data model representing flow characteristics of the fluid in the wellbore, wherein the data model is derived from the feedback signal and the approximate depth of the injection port, and analyzing the data model based upon an instruction set to extrapolate a characteristic of the formation.

Methods for interpretation of downhole flow measurement during wellbore treatments

A technique provides an actuation system employed to actuate a tool, such as a downhole tool. The tool is actuated by an actuator element, e.g. a ball, which is selectively releasable from a remote location for interaction with the tool. A carrier is used to hold the actuator element at the remote location until its desired release for interaction with the tool. The carrier may comprise an electro-mechanical actuator mechanism positioned to control release of the actuator element upon receipt of an appropriate control signal.

A tool for deploying a wellbore plug in a well using flowable eutectic material is disclosed. A tool having a mandrel, an obstruction, and a flowable quantity of eutectic material in a solid state is positioned in the wellbore. The obstruction is actuated and the flowable material is heated to melt. The obstruction supports the flowed material as it cools to form a plug in the wellbore.

Methods of deployment for eutectic isolation tools to ensure wellbore plugs

A technique facilitates performance of a perforating operation in a wellbore. The technique comprises positioning a perforating gun assembly downhole in a wellbore via coiled tubing. The perforating gun assembly has a plurality of individually controllable perforating gun sections which may be selectively fired at different well zones. An optical fiber is deployed along the coiled tubing to deliver control signals to the perforating gun assembly. The control signals enable sequential firing of the individually controllable perforating gun sections at the desired locations, e.g. well zones, along the wellbore.

A method and apparatus to deliver fluid to a subterranean formation comprising a pump configured to deliver fluid to a wellbore, a flow path configured to receive fluid from the pump, a bottom hole assembly comprising a fluid outlet and a temperature sensor and configured to receive fluid from the flow path, and a controller configured to accept information from the temperature sensor and to send a signal.

Method for controlling the downhole temperature during fluid injection into oilfield wells
