A multi-tube ozone generator which includes a plurality of ozone generating tubes packed or nested in a close proximity to one another to provide a compact and nested configuration while still providing sufficient cooling passages between the tubes. Each of the tubes is provided with a central portion and an enlarged, flared hexagonal configured end portion which are joined to adjacent flared ends along their mating edges. The present invention also relates to a method for making such an ozone generator.

Multi-tube ozone generator and method of making same

A flow control device for use in connection with a fluid separation system of the type having a pressure feed, a fluid separation portion and a flow control passage in which the flow control device includes a fixed orifice plate with one or more orifices, a movable orifice plate with one or more orifices which are adjustably and selectively movable for alignment with the orifices in the fixed plate. The flow control device also includes a mechanism for providing adjustment movement of the movable orifice. A further aspect of the present invention is the incorporation of the flow control mechanism into a fluid separation system.

Adjustable flow control for fluid separation system comprising

A cross-flow filtration membrane test unit having a bottom cell body, a top cell body and a pair of laterally spaced O-rings forming a seal therebetween. The bottom cell body is provided with a feed spacer cavity and the top cell body is provided with a permeate carrier cavity. A mechanism for receiving a test sample of membrane enables the membrane performance and characteristics to be tested in a manner which closely simulates actual full-scale operation.

Cross-flow filtration membrane test unit

A cross flow filtration apparatus of the type having an elongated filtration element housing, a cross flow filtration element disposed therein and a closure assembly connected with the ends of the housing. The closure assembly includes a generally annular adaptor having a first end connected with the housing and a second end provided with first connection members and an end cap for sealing cooperation with the adaptor which includes an end wall having an outer peripheral edge provided with second connection members for engagement with the first connection members of the adaptor. The first and second connection members cooperate with one another so that the end cap can be selectively secured to the adaptor as a result of rotation of the end cap relative to the adaptor and a seal member is disposed between a portion of the end cap and a portion of the adaptor.

Cross flow filtration apparatus and closure assembly therefor

A cross flow membrane system for separating feed water into a concentrate stream and a permeate stream which includes a cross-flow membrane module, a pump for pressurizing feed water for supply to the module and a flow control manifold block having a permeate, a concentrate bore and a concentrate orifice for controlling the flow of concentrate from the system and the operating pressure within the cross-flow membrane module. The manifold block simplifies the manufacture, operation and maintenance of the system and allows elimination of many of the tubes, hoses and valves which are commonly required in prior art systems.
