A rotary lock including a housing having a strike channel shaped to receive a strike component and a latch member including at least one strike engaging member. The latch member is rotatable between an unlatched position, a secondary latch position and a primary latch position. A keeper member is moveable between a disengaged position, a secondary keeper position, and a primary keeper position. A lock member is moveable between a lock position and an unlock position. The lock member and/or a lock actuator is non-movable to the lock position when the latch member is in the secondary latch position, thereby providing indicia that the latch member is not fully latched in a primary latch position. Methods of assembly and use are also provided.

A slam latch includes a housing and a pair of slide latch components biased toward a strike channel by springs. Each of the slide latch components is independently slideable in a track between a locking position, wherein the slide latch components extend into the strike channel, and a strike receiving position, wherein the slide latch components are slideably moved away from the strike channel into the tracks against the biasing force of the springs. A modular latch kit provides for one of the latch components to be replaced with a plug so as to block any opening on that side of the strike channel. A method of assembling a latch includes selecting either a combination of a latch component and a spring, or a plug, and disposing the selected combination or the plug in the housing.

Slam latch and method for the assembly thereof

A push button assembly includes a housing, a push button, a sealing member and a cover member. The push button is moveably received in the housing and is moveable between at least an extended, at-rest position and a depressed position. The sealing member is disposed on the push button and is moveable therewith between the at-rest and depressed positions. The cover member is releasably coupled to the housing. The sealing member engages the cover member when the push button and the sealing member are in the at-rest position, while the sealing member is spaced apart from the cover member when the push button and the sealing member are in the depressed position. A push button system and a method or operating a push button are also provided.

Push button and method for use thereof

A locking handle includes a base and a handle rotatably mounted to the base. A well is formed in the handle, and this well communicates with a key opening in a front portion of the handle and a loading opening in a rear portion of the handle. A shaft is mounted in the well via the loading opening to rotate with the handle, and this shaft forms a recess adjacent the key opening. A lock cylinder including a key receiving slot and a locking element is positioned in the recess to rotate in unison with the handle, with the key slot aligned with the key opening. The lock is dimensioned to pass through the loading opening, and the locking element passes outside of the shaft to releasably engage the base and thereby selectably lock the handle against rotation with respect to the base.

A window regulator includes a rotatable hub that is coupled to a traveller by a cable, such that rotation of the hub raises and lowers the traveller. The hub is mounted on a driven gear which is rotated by a drive gear. The hub and the driven gear are concentrically mounted around a post, which defines an outer surface that is frictionally engaged by a coil spring that is coupled both to the driven gear and to the hub. The coil spring brakes rotation of the hub when the traveller is pushed downwardly. The drive gear and its associated bushings are removably mounted on the window regulator to allow easy replacement.

Window regulator

A latch includes a housing and first and second latch arms. Each latch arm defines a latching end, and the arms are pivotable between a latching position and a release position. A rotatable cam longitudinally shifts a latch arm follower, and the latch arms define bearing surfaces which engage the latch arm follower. The latch arms are configured such that movement of the latch arm follower toward the latching ends moves the bearing surfaces in a direction tending to move the latch arms to the release position.
