A reflective marker including first and second reflectors, each having a first and second reflective outer surfaces spaced apart by a peripheral rim. The first reflector further including a central region including a first open portion extending through the first reflector peripheral rim and a raised rib defining a blind hole extending from the first open portion for receiving a support post. The second reflector further including a central region including a second open portion extending through the second reflector peripheral rim and a raised rib defining a through bore extending from the second open portion for receiving the support post. The first open portion of the first reflector central region is sized to receive the raised rib of the second reflector central region and the second open portion of the second reflector central region is sized to receive the raised rib of the first reflector central region.

Reconfigurable reflective road marker

A plant cover transformable between collapsed and expanded states and including: a frame including a plurality of rods; a foldable canopy secured to the rods; and a pivoting support assembly operatively coupled to the frame. The pivoting support assembly includes: a brace having a central base and a plurality of projections extending radially outwardly from the central base and defining a longitudinally extending socket, a pivot support defining a pivot axis, and a latch receiver; and a plurality of rod supports pivotally coupled to a respective projection of the plurality of projections of the brace. Each rod support including a split hearing collar at one end pivotally mounted to the pivot support of a corresponding projection and a latch member at the opposite end, the latch member engaging the latch receiver to secure the corresponding rod support in the open position.

Expandable plant cover

An attachment clip assembly for securing a splash guard to an edge of a vehicle panel. The attachment clip assembly includes inner and outer clips and a threaded fastener. The inner clip includes wedging and gripping arms and the outer clip includes wedging and support arms, the inner clip fitting in nested relationship in the outer clip. The threaded fastener extends through an opening of the inner clip and a slotted opening of the outer clip. The wedging arm of the outer clip includes spaced apart shoulders overlying respective outer edges of the wedging arm of the inner clip such that, upon tightening the threaded fastener, the wedging arm of the inner clip slides along the wedging arm of the outer clip in a direction toward a central portion of the outer clip thereby moving the inner clip gripping arm toward the outer clip support arm.

Splash guard attachment clip assembly

A splash guard assembly for an over the highway vehicle and a kit for making the assembly are disclosed. The assembly includes a contoured splash guard and an intermediate mounting element for positioning between the splash guard and a vehicle side panel. The guard and the element are complementally contoured to fit together. The element is also contoured to fit a specific vehicle panel adjacent a wheel well of a vehicle having such panel. When assembled the element and panel are interconnected to enable mounting of the guard. Fasteners securing the element and guard together and the element to the panel.

Splash guard kit and assembly

An automotive vehicle splash guard is disclosed. The splash guard includes a generally flat and flexible mounting component contoured to be mounted in a wheel well of any vehicle of a class of vehicles and a contoured member shaped to provide body panel engagement with at least one selected vehicle but not all vehicles of the class. The member and the component have engaging portions which are contoured complementally such that when the member and the component are secured together the member and the component together give the appearance of a unitary splash guard custom molded to fit such at least one selected vehicle of the class. A process for making customized splash guards is also disclosed.

Splash guard

A splash guard is adapted to fit any one of a set of vehicles having fender wheel well opening curvatures falling within a predetermined range while providing an aesthetic appearance of being custom molded for any vehicle of the set on which the splash guard is intended to be mounted. The splash guard includes a mounting section for connection to a fender, a splash arresting section connected to the mounting section and extending downwardly from the mounting section when the splash guard is in use, and a flange section connected to the mounting and arresting sections. The flange section includes a pleated portion enabling enhanced flange deformation to accommodate a wide range of vehicle configurations.

Vehicle splash guard

A splash guard for use on auto vehicles having at each wheel a body panel and a flange which in part defines a wheel well. The splash guard includes a body portion with an upper section and an adjacent mounting part formed to engage and cover the wheel well flange during use. The mounting part being curved in an upright plane of cross section whereby in use it is either undistorted or distorted into a condition of lesser curvature. The body portion also includes a lower section which is dished for enhanced splash protection, and sufficiently curved to disguise splash guard deformation and a lack of parallelism with a road surface. A flange portion projects from the body portion in a rearward direction during use and is preferably of a material capable of deforming to effect a seal between the flange portion and body panel. The flange portion includes a surface which engages the body panel and which is at an acute angle with the surface which engages the wheel well flange.

A splash guard assembly including a splash guard 10 and mounting clamps 16 for attaching the splash guard to a fender flange 12b. The mounting clamp 16 includes structure defining a base 22, a back plate 24 extending laterally from the base and a pair of substantially parallel clamping arms 26 disposed on either side of the back plate. The clamping arms also extend from the base 22 and include portions disposed in a plane spaced from a plane defined by the back plate such that a fender flange receiving gap 28 is defined. Portions of the arms 26 are biased toward the plane of the back plate 24 so that when the clamp is pushed onto the fender flange a gripping force is generated by which the clamp is held in position during the installation process. A threaded pin member 18 is carried by the clamp and receives the splash guard. A locking cap is threaded onto the pin 18 in order to secure the splash guard to the clip and to generate a clamping force by urging the clamping arms 26 towards the back plate so that once installed, the mounting clip is maintained on the fender flange by the clamping force generated by the threaded cap.
