A method of displaying survey results is disclosed. In one embodiment, for each response to each item by each survey respondent, a calibrated score is determined. The calibrated score is based on a probability that a person having the collection of respondent segments associated with the survey respondent would provide either the response to the item or any of the response options to the item that are lower on the ordinal scale, or the response to the item or any of the response options to the item that are higher on the ordinal scale. An organization composite score is determined based on the calibrated score for each response. A display includes images corresponding with the organization composite score and other organization composite scores. Each image is located with respect to a first axis based on the associated organization composite score.

Survey insight reporting system and method

In one embodiment, the invention can be a method of displaying survey results. The method can include, for each of a plurality of survey items, receiving survey responses from survey respondents, wherein each response is chosen from response options, the response options corresponding to an ordinal scale; each respondent is associated with a collection of respondent segments; and each response to each item by each survey respondent corresponds with a response score. The method can further include, for each item and respondent segment, determining a composite score based on the response score. Further, response groupings can be displayed according to a noteworthiness ranking that is based on at least two of the composite score, a change in the composite score, and a sum of weights for each respondent segment.

In one embodiment, the invention can be a method for manager-to-employee communication, the method including receiving comment data from employee devices of employees of an organization, the comment data indicating employee comments to a survey topic; receiving contact-me data from a manager device indicating contact-me requests, the contact-me requests indicating that the manager desires the employees to contact the manager directly regarding the employee comments to the survey topic; receiving contact-me response data from the employee devices indicating whether the employees will contact the manager directly; and generating a manager rating based on the saved contact-me response data.

In one embodiment, the invention can be a method of protecting confidentiality in a real-time survey, the method including receiving from each of a plurality of organization respondents a real-time response to a survey topic; receiving an indication of an organizational change affecting a first member of the organization, the organizational change comprising the first member departing or joining a first department, the first department comprising a plurality of first department respondents, the plurality of first department respondents being a first subset of the plurality of organization respondents; defining a first safe group comprising a first subset of the plurality of first department respondents, the first safe group having first safe group responses to the survey topic; and providing a response report for at least the first department, the response report excluding the first safe group responses.

In one embodiment, the invention can be a method including receiving a first list of agenda items for a meeting, the first list of agenda items organized in a first order; transmitting the first list of agenda items to user interfaces of meeting participants; providing, to each user interface, access to predetermined item rating options; receiving, from the meeting participants in real-time, item ratings for at least one of the agenda items of the first list; and transmitting, to each user interface, a second list of agenda items for the meeting, the second list comprising a second list of agenda items organized in a second order; wherein the second order of the second list of agenda items is based on the item ratings.

The field of view of a sensor mounted on a satellite (or other spacecraft) is obscured by various objects, such as celestial bodies and the satellite's own solar panels. A method is disclosed for visualizing and quantifying, with respect to time, variations in the portions of the sensor's field of view that are obscured. The graphical output of a satellite systems analysis program, which features high-resolution, three-dimensional, animated images of spacecraft, celestial bodies and other objects in the space environment, is utilized. The graphical output is simplified to only a few colors to differentiate only background and irrelevant objects from relevant objects. Differentiation is also made, using different colors, in representation of those portions of the field of view that overlap relevant (obscuring) objects from the remainder of the field of view which is unobscured. By counting pixels of the respective colors, frame-by-frame during animation, the percentage of obscuration over time is quantified.

The invention uses a portable computational equipment that can be as small as a digital wristwatch or portable computer. The information on satellite location and timing is downloaded from the PC to the portable calculation equipment for later access in the field by the user. A method and apparatus for modeling the exposure of spacecraft-mounted solar power panels to the sun over a given time interval, such as an orbit period, and a method and apparatus for modeling the drag of spacecraft over a given time interval, such as an orbit period. The result of the exposure modeling can be used to determine varying availability of electrical power for operations to be performed by the spacecraft and on-board apparatus. The results of the drag over time are used to predict orbit decay and fuel requirements for orbit maintenance and station-keeping. The invention uses a graphically based satellite systems analysis program to approximate exposure and drag data through visual projection of the relevant spacecraft elements on a computer display screen.
