A pump assembly is disclosed. The pump assembly including an outer casing having a first end, an opposing second end, and a cavity therein; a discharge tube positioned in the cavity and exiting the first end of the outer casing; a check valve positioned in the cavity and operably connected to the discharge tube by a coupling; and a multi-float control assembly positioned in the cavity, the multi float control assembly including a bottom float check valve operably connected to the discharge tube by the coupling and an upper float check valve connected to a vent exiting the first end of the outer casing.

The pump including an outer casing having a cavity therein; a pump assembly positioned in the cavity of the outer casing, the pump assembly including: a discharge tube; a check valve operably connected to the discharge tube by a coupling; and a multi-float control assembly, the multi float control assembly including a bottom float check valve operably connected to the discharge tube by the coupling and an upper float check valve connected to a vent.

A method for manufacturing an electrical cable includes dividing a tube into a plurality of sectors by passage across a sectoring device, gathering the sectors into a stack by passage of the sectors through a gathering device, and surrounding the stack with an insulating layer. Additional strip features may be applied by application of one or more strip conditioners. Alternatively, strips may be supplied on individual reels for gathering or provided in a multi-end reel already stacked. Where a multi-end reel is provided, length differentials within the stack as it is unwound may be compensated for by application of a stretcher.

Methods for manufacturing an electrical cable

Composite communications cable are provided that include a central conductor, a dielectric spacer that substantially surrounds the central conductor, an outer conductor that substantially surrounds the dielectric spacer, a jacket that surrounds the outer conductor and a non-buffered optical fiber positioned between the central conductor and the dielectric spacer. An outer surface of the non-buffered optical fiber is within 50 microns of the outer surface of the central conductor. The positioning of the optical fiber adjacent an outer surface of the central conductor may protect the optical fiber from damage.

Coaxial connectors are provided that include a body assembly, an internally-threaded nut, and a conductive anti-friction bearing mechanism disposed between the body assembly and the nut. In some embodiments, the conductive anti-friction bearing mechanism may comprise a plurality of ball bearings that are configured to maintain an electrical connection between the body assembly and the internally-threaded nut.

Coaxial connectors include a connector body and an inner contact post. A compression sleeve is also provided that is configured to impart a generally circumferential compressive force to secure one or more elements of a coaxial cable between the connector body and the inner contact post when the compression sleeve is in a seated position. The compression sleeve or the connector body includes a first disengagement mechanism that is configured to assist moving the compression sleeve from the seated position to an unseated position in which at least some of the circumferential compressive force is eliminated.

An electrical communications element having a foamed plastic insultation extruded about a conductor with said insulation including at least one component with more than 20% by weight of an ultra-high die swell ratio polymer (UHDSRP), preferably around 15% by weight. The UHDSRP is defined as greater than 55% die swell ratio and more preferably greater than 65% die swell ratio. The insulation also preferably includes at least a second component with a high degree of stress crack resistance, such that the combination of (minimally) these polymers will yield an insulation layer that has a unique combination of physical propeties yielding a high degree of foaming, small uniform cell structure, characteristically lower attenuation, and stress crack resistance capable of withstanding greater than 100 hours at 100&#xb0; C. while coiled at a stress level of 1 times the insulation outside diameter without failure (cracking).
